Her mind always seems to be somewhere else, and judging by the scowl that clouds her face more often than not, it's not a nice place. She's hard to keep in a conversation and harder to befriend, but those few she calls true friends know no one more loyal or loving... or better to have as an ally than an enemy. |

Lore
Cathala spent the first seventy years of her life living humbly as one of two daughters of a pair of fishers in Darkshore. However, she always had a strong wanderlust, and she eventually decided to board a ship bound for Tanaris, aiming to spend one or two years away from home to see what there was to see of the world. However, after an unexpected storm and some incredibly bad (or incredibly good) luck, she found herself the only survivor of a shipwreck, stranded on the shores of what she would later learn to be Pandaria. Though she kept to herself, over time she learned pandaren ways, their language, and spent thirty years becoming a monk. When the mists parted again, she returned to a changed world, one she is still learning to navigate. But not long after returning to Kalimdor, she lost her parents and sister in the burning of Teldrassil, only narrowly escaping herself. Two forces guide her in the aftermath: her unwavering devotion to her lover and adventuring partner, Tarinne Blackhelm, and her insatiable lust for revenge. |

 Sing-Sing Sing-Sing is a jade cloud serpent with the uncommon ability to change his size at will. He serves as both Cathala's companion and mount. Despite his ability, he suffers from what one could call a... diminutive intelligence. Helping him get his head unstuck from tankards and chair legs could be considered one of Cathala's major hobbies. |
