We're having an Ancient theme week right now. There are ten windbound masks in Roundsey, along with a triple pear, innocent-wind eyed dragon. Mistjam has been over for weeks.

It's been ~5 months since Everluxes.

I mean, how much more in your face could it get? I don't necessarily expect to see the trailer like... tomorrow, since we just got a gene update, but I am convinced we will see this ancient within the next 14 days.

OHHH I didn't make the connection with the ancient theme week, but I like the way you think...

Normally I'm the one saying "we just got the last ancient, can we slow the schedule down a bit" but surprisingly I'm super hyped for the wind ancient. I want something new to scry.

I said almost a month ago that it does feel like it'll come in april. I think a release in may would be quickly overshadowed by the anniversary, but it has been like half a year now and that's generally the timeframe for them so far? But anyone may correct me with better theories

I feel like the Ancient theme week is just a general one, if it means anything at all, then it's probably purely for the chance to show off the new Ancient gene expansion that just released (7 breeds got parallel Caterpillar/Larvae genes)

I'm pretty sure the ancient theme share is to tie to the ancient gene expansion that just happened, if anything.

Personally I won't get hyped up until we see either an explicit hint (like, a preview) or a suspicious notice about a scheduled maintenance coming up. The ancient won't release without a maintenance iirc, so without one coming up, we can guess "no" pretty confidently.
