i do totally get saying this after the overload of people that could NOT be even remotely normal about everluxes and i think its a good thing to mention! but i just know regardless of what the wind ancient is im going to be happy with it. i sense it in my soul that im very unlikely to be disappointed

Reception of Everluxes was [b]very[/b] divisive, and there were some very loud people/opinions on both ends of the spectrum. While a large crowd loved them for how much they broke the mold with their chunky grub-like design, plenty of others were unhappy with their appearance and believed they weren't a fitting choice for the Light flight (I think a large part of any disappointment stemmed from the expectation that Light's ancient would be a regal, elegant dragon and not a fat little worm).
Forums were [b]very busy[/b] for a hot while after their release. The unhappy people voicing their critiques, the happy people jumping in to defend their new favorite ancient breed... kind of ended up being a cycle that fed into itself.
TLDR: Some people were normal and polite about expressing their opinions about the Everlux, both positive and negative. Others were not. Forum chaos ensued.

You can argue whether or not the choice to be divisive was fair to players. I definitely sympathize with the disappointment a lot of people probably felt, even though the idea of aiming for something way different is nice, in theory.
We should not be expecting anything in particular, is the bottom line, even though that's going to be really hard to avoid. I'm hoping it's nice enough for me to want one at least, unlike Everluxes which I'm still not convinced about, lol.
