[center][size=5]The Flight Rising IC Correspondence Association[/size][/center] [b] [i]So what is this?[/i][/b] Well, I am a person who finds RP on flight rising and within the bounds of the world to be a fun possibility. There have been cross-flight pen pals schemes, and your occasional hatchling letters, but as far as I know, no simple way to indicate that one is open to both such types IC correspondence, outside putting a wordy note in your profile. I may be over-complicating things, but I though it would be neat to have a set of 'terms' so to speak for signature and profile use, each indicating a particular set of guidelines in regards to personal preference: RP friendly or RP clan, [b]RP friendly[/b] indicates that one is: - open to letters from hatchlings - open to letters from parents of hatchlings[as long as offspring is not pegged for exaltation] - ask about other correspondences via letter - two or more dragons are developed within the world of Sorneith - clan itself may have lore connecting it to the world of Sorneith [b] RP clan[/b] indicates that one is: - open to letters from hatchlings - open to letters from parents[as long as offspring is not pegged for exaltation] - open to all IC correspondence via letter/PM - ask about forum RP - most dragons are developed within the world of Sorneith - clan itself has lore connecting it to the world of Sorneith Note: Clans under both banners should mark dragons that are not lore and/or to exalt. This can be as simple as an 'x' in the bio or a note in the profile(i.e. 'any dragon after 'y' is not a part of clan lore'). Just stick a note and a link to the thread in your profile, and you are a member. [b][i]Expanding upon that..[/i] [/b] The primary goal of this association is to increase player to player IC interaction, mainly through letters. While hopefully the terms above have assisted in this in some way, I also hope this year to run a few events centered around this, as well as semi-regularly sign-posting similar and related events & threads. What exactly does RP Friendly mean? Can you be a non-RP clan but still be RP friendly? Cause I don't mind answer IC but I don't actively do RP.

As I have written in the post, you absolutely can be RP friendly but not be an RP clan, that's why I made the distinctions. If you are termed RP friendly, you advertise yourself as being open to receive hatchling/parent letters, and that you have most likely two or more dragons who have a character of sorts in your lair.
