55 modern genes have been released since I joined. I got here like a month before jaguar and rosette were released!

Wow looking through the dates of when genes were released, it's crazy. There's a number of them that I thought were already around when I joined like python/morph and tapir/striation, but in reality they were released after!

When I joined the only genes we had were:

basic, iridescent, tiger, clown, and speckled primaries
basic, shimmer, stripes, eye spots, freckle, and seraph secondaries
basic, circuit, gembond, underbelly, and crackle tertiaries

If I counted correctly, 93 modern genes have been released since I joined (34 primaries, 33 secondaries, and 26 tertiaries). I might be off a bit but I think that's right.

I'm glad the devs and artists are continually adding new genes. I never stopped to think about just how many genes have been released in the past 8+ years!
