Savannah/Safari: They're both kind of meh to be honest, but I'd say Safari wins by a little bit more.

Skink/Spinner: Equal

Speckle/Freckle: Equal

Tapir/Striation: Striation is better

Tiger/Stripes: Equal

Vipera/Hypnotic: Vipera is definitely better

Wasp/Bee: Bee is definitely better.

Bar/Daub: Usually I prefer Bar, Daub tends to fade out near the edge of the wing in a way I don't really like. It can be good, but usually Peregrine is better.

Cherub/Seraph: Both are great, but Cherub is more interesting.

Clown/Eye Spots: ...I cannot decide. I love them both equally. They're two of my favorite genes overall.

Crystal/Facet: Facet looks SO NICE. I can't place my finger on what makes Crystal odd, but it's weird and I like it way less often (especially in bicolors like Metals).

Falcon/Peregrine: I love 'em both, but Falcon maybe a liiiittle more.

Giraffe/Hex: Hex. Giraffe does funky things to dragons' faces.

Iridescent/Shimmer: It really, really depends on the dragon, but more often Shimmer.

Jaguar/Rosette: Jaguar. Rosette can be a little busy.

Jupiter/Saturn: Saturn. Again, Jupiter does weird things to faces sometimes.

Metallic/Alloy: I like both, but Alloy is good in more situations.

Petals/Butterfly: Butterfly. Some of the lines on Petals are weird, like they're trying to outline muscles or something.

Piebald/Paint: I like both about equally. Probably Paint more. (I'm picky about my dragons' faces, can you tell?)

Pinstripe/Trail: About equal. Maybe Pinstripe a little better.

Poison/Toxin: Poison. Toxin has those weird blank patches sometimes.

Ripple/Current: Current. (again, faces)

Savannah/Safari: Savannah. It's really striking, and as others have mentioned, Safari doesn't really cover much of the wing. I only really like Safari on Spirals, who don't have much wing for it to cover.

Skink/Spinner: Skink. Spinner doesn't cover the top of the wing well at all.

Speckle/Freckle: About equal.

Tapir/Striation: Look at what Tapir does to dragon faces and guess which I prefer :P (Striation)

Tiger/Stripes: I like em both, but Tiger is more interesting more often.

Vipera/Hypnotic: Is there anyone on this site at all who prefers Hypnotic?

Wasp/Bee: Both, maybe Bee slightly more.

Clown/Eye Spots: Clown is a nice neutral pattern, but I don't like eye spots

Falcon/Peregrine: Peregrine!
Giraffe/Hex: Both equal.
Iridescent/Shimmer: I don't like either one.
Jaguar/Rosette: I love the details Jaguar adds to the face.
Jupiter/Saturn: I love how well Saturn works as a secondary but they're both great.
Metallic/Alloy: Love them both.
Petals/Butterfly: Petals is more dragon-like imo. I love the added colors but not the "butterfly" aspect.
Piebald/Paint: Not a fan of either one.
Pinstripe/Trail: Love them both, love Trail a bit more.
Poison/Toxin: They're p much equal.
Ripple/Current: I like Current a lot, but Ripple is a nice simple primary.
Savannah/Safari: Love them both.
Skink/Spinner: I like them both but the pattern makes them hard to work with terts.
Speckle/Freckle: Not a fan of either one, but they're okay.
Tapir/Striation: Striation. Not a fan of Tapir.
Tiger/Stripes: Stripes is nice, Tiger manages to be too busy AND too bland.
Vipera/Hypnotic: Vipera is awesome, Hypnotic is terrible.
Wasp/Bee: Bee is AMAZING, but Wasp is nice too.

Bar/Daub: Daub, I'd say. I've got a dragon I'm planning on giving it too.

Cherub/Seraph: Cherub. I have Cherub/Seraph, and she's probably going to be my only Seraph.

Clown/Eye Spots: Eye Spots I guess.

Crystal/Facet: Facet, just prefer combining it with other genes than Crystal.

Falcon/Peregrine: Tie, honestly. I love these genes for the most part.

Giraffe/Hex: Tie? I don't know.

Iridescent/Shimmer: Depends, honestly. Tie.

Jaguar/Rosette: Jaguar, love that eyeliner.

Jupiter/Saturn: Jupiter is going on one of my progens, so I'll say that.

Metallic/Alloy: Alloy I suppose

Petals/Butterfly: Butterfly in the sky I can go twice as high

Piebald/Paint: Tie. Haven't used either yet.

Pinstripe/Trail: Tie? I'm not a huge fan of either.

Poison/Toxin: Toxin, but I adore both yet I still don't have one

Ripple/Current: Current maybe? Dependsss

Savannah/Safari: Safari because Nightmare Snappers

Skink/Spinner: Spinner. I like the name lol.

Speckle/Freckle: Tie, I think it's cute.

Tapir/Striation: Striaton, not liking the face thing much on Tapir
