Bah! I have so many dragons to choose from! The dragons without outfits, were choosing sides, and the dragons with outfits were arguing about who had the better outfits. Rumble slipped out of the lair while everyone else was preoccupied. The pearlcatcher trotted up to the competition area, and tipped his hat to the hosts. The hat was a tad bit too big, and kept falling over his eyes. He looked out from under it grinning from ear to ear, "Don't tell my clan that I'm here, they were too busy arguing to notice me." That said, he went off into the waiting area where he sat and played with the little robotic dragon that hovered around his head. Being a transplant from the lightning flight, he didn't seem to mind the occasional shock.

A lone Imperial dragon soared above the clouds, waiting for just the right moment to show her family what she could do. She dove from the cloud, weaving her way past startled birds. Her tunic and ribbons, normally pristine and neat, streamed behind her in a mess of cloth. She laughed. Flight was her passion, and when she was up in the sky, she had no care for clothes. There was a flash of light, and the last sunbeams hit her gem-scales perfectly, enveloping the Imperial in a golden glow. She opened her wings, slowing her descent to make the effect last as long as possible. Flower petals started to fall around her, and she looked up to find her mate shredding a rose. He winked, and her smile grew wide. She wanted to live in this moment forever, in flower petals and sunsets.

He tripped over a wayward tail and fell over. "Ah! I'm so s-sorry!" He tripped over his words and quickly looped off to sit with the other contestants for that day. Unrolling a scrap of parchment, he started mumbling his little speech to himself. "H-hello everybody. My name is G-Galapagos. I come from Clan Lunaerium a-and today I'd like to participate in the Dress for Success contest." He took a breath, looked around at the other dragons in the room before carrying on to himself. "I'm the clan's Poet and I do like to sort out our growing library, so some people call me the Librarian too. I-uh, I like to wear these clothes because they're easy to move about in and they're comfy. This kerchief my Clan Leader Gii got for me is pretty expensive, or so they say, so I'm really really touched that she got it for me and so I wear it all the time." He grinned to himself before shyly tugging on his mask.

These are my casual clothes." The snapper looks at you from behind huge goggles. He doesn't look particularly casual, with a button up shirt and a bow tie on. You point out this fact, but it doesn't seem to faze him. "I don't know if you've heard, but bow ties are cool!" he says. That doesn't seem enough of a reason to consider them casual, but to each his own. "Besides," he continues, "What else would I wear when I go adventuring? Adventuring's pretty casual." He does have a point, and his fedora definitely looks like something you've seen at least one adventurer wear.

When they said "anything goes", he didn't expect others to still go all out. Now he felt underdressed and just wanted to sink into his clothing. "I um... just wear what's comfy... I don't have this cape on all the time. But traveling over to here was cold." Donning scarf and hat, he was mostly prepared to go most anywhere.

What a shame!" Calypso giggled. She burst into the area with fervor, her perpetual flowerfall making swirls around her twisty body and her pipes giving a whistle as her fast movements pushed air through them. "I may not be [i]casual[/i], but they did say I could wear whatever I was feeling, and I'm feeling this!" Calypso looked to a bundled up Fae who seemed a tad shy about what he was wearing and gave him a dazzling grin. "You look perfect, don't worry! Besides, your scarf looks extra soft and warm."
