Crackle of Lightning
The beginning was not a pretty one. Two dragons without family to call their own found each other in the vastness of the desert. Yuarali, a stolid mirror, accustomed to hardship and pain. Raaz, a defeated tundra, far out of his depth in the unforgiving outskirts of the Stormcatcher's territory. They shored each others weaknesses up and sought a better life. Along the way, others joined them, drawn to their apparent knack for leadership. The speed at which their small clan grew was unsustainable.

Tensions rose as the clan broke into factions. Those that sought to better their place in lightning, and those that claimed they must start anew. Torn, the leaders knew not what to do. It took outright battle to bring about a final decision. Yuarali stood before her broken clan and said they would move to the lands of the Icewarden and there she would step down. The announcement was met with shock and confusion. Who would lead if not she? Many dragons left that night. Those who remained prepared themselves for the long journey.

Home of Ice
Reaching the kingdom of snow was a challenge all its own. Though they stored what food and valuables they could, they almost weren't enough. It took considerable time, practice, and patience for the newcomers to adapt their hunting and gathering skills to the new ecosystem. While making their way deeper into the lands they came upon a coatl of fire. She was young but confident and immediately offered to assist them. She spent a weeks time with them, revealing herself as Runeis. It came as a surprise to all when Yuarali passed her role onto the newcomer.

When questioned, she simply stated that in a new land, a new leader seemed fitting. Runeis was both flattered and nervous. Reluctantly, she agreed, but only so long as she could turn to Yuarali for guidance when trouble arose.

Oh also thanks for the compliment on my little boggie! I kind of hate her colors, but since she's my first hatch she's just going to be another scatter project haha~

I've watched a few episodes--it's very calming and I even kind of like that there isn't (so far) any big overarching narrative! Does that change? lolol
