Hidden behind the frenzied twirls of a many Spiral's tail and perched snug within the reaching branches of a tree Guardian's wings rests the founder of an unnamed clan. Her life-long guardian and familiar, Ryger, acts as both her messenger and counselor when the burden of helping friends and family stay on good terms with one another threatens to dig claws into her neck.

Initially, Ryger was the only form of friendly life she knew as a newly hatched Fae. The cool-headed centaur would carry Windyll in the safety of his arms, only allowing her to sit on his back during emergencies, as treating any prideful centaur from the Spoors of Orion as a common mount is one of the worst ways to bring shame to a centaur's family. Even at a young age, Windyll noticed something odd about her family structure. She craved attention and affection, but Ryger couldn't make sense of the way the Fae's crest would bounce with her jests, cringe and tuck inward when she wanted to plead for treats or hugs, or any other form of body language that felt natural to her.

She noticed the way dragons arranged themselves into clans and recognized her longing to be a part of one. Making that a reality proved to be a difficult task, because while she learned to imitate Ryger's broader forms of physical communication by tapping her feet against the ground and clicking her tongue to mimic the clash of hooves against stone, most of dragon-kind had difficulty understanding both her and Ryger, leading to small skirmishes and initial bouts of hostility until Ryger made the call to talk it out or flee.

Eventually, Ryger began introducing her to various Nature Faes and their centaur familiars, explaining the intricate ties between her clan and his that obligated them to work together. Through her Fae mentors, Windyll practiced magic, introducing her to the easy to learn 'contuse' and 'aid' abilities in order to properly assist Ryger in battle. The more time she spent in the lands of other clans with Ryger, the more Windyll craved stability.

As the timing would have it, the Gladekeeper's Gathering was ripe with joy for nature's bounty and overflowing with generosity from the neighboring nature clans. A chance encounter with an older and mangled up Tundra by the name of Fiersome had him introducing Windyll to a small band of spirals he was travelling with, claiming to his band that Ryger "smelled like a friend". Overnight, Windyll, Fier, two tree Spirals named Birch and Trech, and their familiars agreed to stick together and form their own unnamed clan.

As of now, Windyll has attempted to see Fier as a romantic interest, but the two are currently content with seeing one another as cuddly squishmates. The clan sees her as a strict, humorless leader that has a hard time opening up, but her fellow Faes would claim that her dry sense of humor is a riot, and Fier would vouch for his squish's sense of compassion any day.
