old boi of the bountain
Has a deeply ingrained dislike of the big city. Unlike Tazenia, it's not a principled dislike; he just can't stand city life. He hates the ever-blinking neon lights, the sound of traffic at all hours, the smell of machinery and exhaust. He hates not being able to look up and see the sky.
During the Argon War, the civilian populace of Green Hill Zone was evacuated to Kaiator. But Axius refused to go. He said he'd rather take his chances with the Argons than move to the city. He fled alone to the mountains, where he lived in a heavily fortified and warded cave. (He's a genius at creating warding systems, which assuredly saved his life.) He slept curled around his meager hoard of treasures. Old-school dragon life.
Holed up in his tiny mountain fortress, he didn't know the war was over until years afterward, and by that point he decided that he enjoyed life in seclusion. He makes occasional grocery runs to the nearby villages, but for the most part he stays put.
Islington stumbled across his cave during a mountaineering venture. She doesn't share his dislike of the city - she's equally at home among skyscrapers as she is trekking through untamed wilderness - but she loves listening to his wartime stories.
6/16/23 - Only three phthalo/bronze/fire dragons, and all others are exalted
