this is trick, my custom progen! they're not exactly a mad scientist [i]yet[/i] in their lore and honestly i'm still developing the whole clan's lore so none of it's written down yet, but trick is the head of a research team (so probably going to be a scientist) from arcane who went on an expedition into the scarred wasteland and

without saying much. they're not coming home anytime soon. because something is just so [i]enticing[/i] about the heart of the wasteland. he thought he just wanted to study it but something more is pulling him in

She only calls herself a scientist because she heard that all you need to do is document your results. I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that, but I'm not going to be the one to argue with her...
She's by no means licensed nor a professional in any sense of the word, but hey, as long as you write it down afterwards, it's science, right? Well, anyways, she likes to live up to her name and cause lots of mayhem everywhere she goes. She likes to steal chemicals from Blackberry, the clan's scholar, to... Varcolac and Dantalion are a classic duo of respectable sibling + wild sibling. Varcolac runs a convenience store in a library; Dantalion is a gangbanger shaking down businessdragons for protection money in a bad neighborhood in Lower Kaiator.
Much of Varcolac's bio is about his journey of self-discovery (he was born as a mirror, then became an obelisk before becoming a spiral), and Dantalion making fun of him for it, which is ultra rude, but brothers be like that sometimes.

So, I promise you, not everyone in my clan is out for revenge. It just so happens there’s been a string of them in close proximity. And Squall is one of the most of those. He’s also another one of my more canon-design-accurate fandragons. He also gets his look from his granddad’s former clan, which I think at one point had a subspecies revolving around Skydancers who had the feathered wings/wooly tail/tailfeathers apparel combo. I really liked it for Squall. And his dad. And his aunt. And a few others I’m sure. I think they were called maybe Avian Fantails? Anyways.
Squall’s story is wrapped up in the story of [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/7#post_55959735]Lijus[/url] and [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/7#post_55967857]Tumork[/url] (who we met a few weeks ago). As Tumork escaped his old home and became happier, that was something the eldritch mind-monster he shares a body with just couldn’t stand. So Lijus tricked Tumork into doing all kinds of things. All kinds of terrible things. One of those things was killing Squall’s mother.
Squall wasn’t at the time living with his parents - he was an adult with a job and life of his own with a clan in Ice territory… But, like any good son might do, he went home when he got that fateful letter from his father. Tumork knows what he’s done, and he knows he’s in big trouble… but he also can’t convince himself to run. He’s happy.
And Squall is certainly not happy.
While he investigates his mother’s murder, he’s become a soldier with the Tempest Chase. It turns out the egg doesn’t roll far from the nest. At least not around here it doesn’t.

No matter how old, all dragons in the clan listen to her when it comes to fighting, and she's darn good at it. It doesn't matter what eldritch horror you are, if Royal tells you to do something, you DO IT. Despite this, she's a very soft and sweet mother and loves all her babies very dearly, with them being the main reason she fights-to keep her family safe. Of course this also means keeping her two squishy husbands, Wingtin and Midori, safe and sound.
She's absolutely not a force to be messed with, and can and will tangle with whatever beast she must-but she also knows how to be soft when needed, and is strangely the second best dragon to comfort a scared hatchling [the only dragon better at it being Midori, who's a nursery king].
