She's started a love for the on-site jade early. She'll always be my first jade G1, and I'm still so proud of how she came together. Her tert was hard to work with, but she turned out great! We've got a history together that could take its own whole post! He's helped me overcome some nasty trauma, and since last August, has been and remains my most special dragon since he gained a gijinka and subsequently gained a place in my OC catalogue. I'll treasure him forever!! And a favorite... Really hard to pick here too! I almost went with Urick, but I think since she was my icon for so long (though I recently switched for pride), that title goes to Estiria! She reminds me of how easily you can connect with people here on FR, and how the small acts of kindness are the ones that stick with you for the longest. [center]My custom progen is my oldest, my favorite, and is the dragon that means the most to me. Decked in my favorite colors from the getgo, in a breed that is still a personal favorite of mine. I've written him lore, I've commissioned art for him from numerous artists (and did some pieces of my own). And even after all of these years, he still stands first and foremost at the front of my lair, waiting to greet visitors. He co-owns a battle and hunting supply shop with his mate, Scarletta. He's also my oldest dragon, being 5 years old! He'll turn 6 this year. I breed him and Scarletta sometimes, because they make basically carbon copies of the same gorgeous genes and colours [emoji=coatl love size=1] [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/58369658][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/583697/58369658_350.png[/img][/url] Sapphire probably means the most to me. She's not my progen, though those two mean tons to me as well, but Sapphire... I got her when I first began, and she's been with me since then. She was a free dragon off of a free level 25 thread. When I saw her, that began my project of getting blue-winged dragons, which has ended since then but my blue dragon collection is still strong, haha. She is a guard to the Coreglow, my progen's section of their clan. She is a guard to the entrance of the Sandy Hollow, and she is very distrustful of dragons who tread near her territory. I'm happy to see her in my lair, as she has mothered a dragon that belongs to a friend of mine, and both her parents have been exalted. So I'm glad I took her in. (Justice for basic terts! XD)

My Favorite dragon is also the one that means the most to me! My dear, beloved Bispen [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/41242524][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/412426/41242524_350.png[/img][/url] I have been using Bispen to explore what gender and gender representation means to me :) I don't know what exactly did it, but i just fell more and more in love with Bispen in the 5 year's i've had them <3 They're the first dragon i have re-gened in any capacity, and the first dragon i've bought art of with real money! At this point i consider bispens human design/ bispen in general an OC. Something i have never really had before. I've made original designs, but they were never really [i]characters[/i]. Bispen just means a lot to me :)

Ten years! It's wild, I've been here for about nine of those, and my love for this dragon site is still going strong lol. Her story is arguably more impressive too considering she's a random dragon who I bought very early on in my return to the site in 2014. She's survived years of lair cleanouts, lore changes, etc. I remember picking her up off the AH as a hatchling and thinking she was so beautiful. And honestly, after updating her a bit and giving her the love she deserves for years of coliseum training, she still is beautiful! Really, she hits two criteria: old and meaningful.
