Elegy's ideals are slightly more earthly than those of some of her compatriots. She is frank and practical, with calloused working hands and a perpetually furrowed brow.

That is not to say she carries out her work with irreverence, or impatience. Descended from a long line of embalmers, Elegy goes about her business with all the craftsmanship of her fire-born predecessors. Preservation is important, the mortal body is sacred, tied to the spirit even in death. A house of bones and flesh, safe harbor for the wandering incorporeal.

She is a homemaker, in a sense, and she takes her work seriously, with secularism and sobriety. Though non-traditional, and non-devout, she is respected by her peers.

To say nothing of the fact the bereaved will gladly empty their coffers for the labor of a master.}

Finally : Elegy. I will repeat myself (she's a combination of all my favourite elements of your lair) but wow. The subtle blend of the skin with the dragons and the apparel is fantastic, i thought she had okapi before checking her genes ! The black points of her tail and paws made me think of necrosis, which seems fitting considering she works with dead bodies, it adds a nice layer of symbolism to her aesthetic. She speaks to my fondness for bronze apparels, here they complement the hues of the linen bandages and her eyes in a delightful way. And her lore is GREAT. She kinda reminds me of a character i created for an upcoming dnd game (a key npc) for both of them are pragmatic, hard working embalmers !
