Very hard not to pick all of them from just this tab! Black and gold is one of my most favorite color combinations. Your UMA collection is quite impressive! I've picked from your lair before, and it really is one that stands out to me when I think of "most favorite lairs of all time." I just love the setup and the theme! This cult follower is beautiful. I love the very subtle crackle peeping through below the skin. Makes her look like mined veins of gold with just a bit left popping through. Her outfit is so simple but definitrly checks all the boxes for me - companion apparel, colors that accent the dragon but aren't necessarily the dragon, etc. And plus I've recently fallen in love with the female skydancer pose! Just the right amount of apparel without overwhelming the art.

Speaking if the abyss! This dragon reminds me if that meme calling NASA astronauts cowards for going to space instead of facing what is at the bottom of the ocean. I LOVE this planet and its inhabitants, and find the concept of deep sea exploration endlessly interesting. 200% can see a many eyed, abyssal monster at the bottom. Or a portal to another dimension. Very fun concept.

Yessss more love to creepy snappers!! I adore this look. I dont have one single snapper, but I sure can appreciate the spooky ones. Their large heads are perfect for these wide, creepy smiles. And this one really exemplifies these traits! I rarely see Keel used in a way that I love, but it works so well here. The scene is just the cherry on top!

First off, I LOVE Abyss. Their art is also incredible and stunning! His shadow primal eyes were incredibly lucky to match PERFECTLY with his skin. The conjurers webs were such a nice touch to help blend with the overall purple and the slight yellow on the dried flowerfall gives a satisfying contrast. I'm invested in this guy, he seems so mysterious and wise.

PHANTOM IS SO COOL?!?!? The reincarnated corpse of a dragon that died in a blizzard - AND he's a nice guy that prevents others from meeting his same fate? SUCH A BEAUTY. Once again the art is absolutely immaculate, Avokado is TALENTED. The skin on Phantom is also well designed and looks so stunning on him, and the red contrast that the flower gives makes him look much more spiritual - though red flowers usually represent love and desire, it can also represent courage and flame!

Once again, amazing skin - the masks they add to the wildclaws look so stunning! Also really like the use of the round horns, as they seem like a part of the mask. The other silver accents such as the silver science bracelets and necklace and the silver flower fall are such a nice touch on him and I really like the light halo and background!

Cocoa is so pretty! I'm in love with her warm pallet and really goes with the fall vibe. The background is such a perfect touch on her, and she gives me such a harvesting or medic type - it's very relaxing! I haven't seen the accent used and looked as pretty as it does on her, sunflowers are really her flower! The yellow in the sunflowers and accents on the red drapes makes her look elegant in a welcoming and wholesome way.

And finally, Hallow! All his art is so DETAILED and beautiful - I can guess he was probably hatched as a banescale! I also like how you added the onyx and fuchsia forejewels and clawrings together to blend them into a more fitting color, the effect really paid off and blends with the lionfish and noxtide purples!

This, is one good scholar, love his lore and in general his apparel really pulled the whole character together. I would never thought a dragon could give such a strong vibe, full to the absolute brim, with that bookish charm. The accent also worked like a magic, it is the perfect puzzle for this whole dragon.

I never really liked full-body skin but she rocked that skin and apparel like a Queen. The garlands are just abosolutely.... *chef's kiss* perfect. She is layered but not cluttered, the apparel holds up to the nature theme without being just a green flowery mess. She looked like a small patch of a peaceful forest, and I absolutely adore her for just that reason.

[nextcol][b]Oberon[/b] is a pretty little thing! The Starmap gene really glitters on the new ancient breed and that dark primary has a lot of high contrast. Gosh and Bee really does this breed well. The Tertiary Lavender Diaphanous matches so well with his eyes too! Even if you didn't keep the current gene set that combo is so perfectly shadowy most combinations go well together. You've got yourself a fine little Veilspun to work with here![/columns]
[columns][b]Everest[/b] is a majestic greyscale beast! I love Gaoler dragons so much and I am very fond of grey color schemes and so I couldn't help but scoop him up. His fluffy wintercoat works so well on him despite that being one of the more difficult tertiary genes to pull off. I was surprised to find that he is an Earth dragon but that is pretty fitting given his name and his breed's origin. He is like a wintery mountain!

She's got a sweet little companion up top which takes the edge off of her intimidating god-like appearance and at the same time supports her name and likeness to the Egyptian god Bastet. You get bonus points in my book for layering Flame Candles. She is certainly a keeper![/columns]
[columns][b]Thanatos[/b] and Hecate are a matching pair and so I could only pick one, but I went with the male pose since that would be my personal favorite between the two Coatl poses. I also went with Thanatos because of his Ice eyes which just completes this pale moon against the dark sky look they are both rocking. Go you for getting the matching pair of accents.

I love finding lairs with large caches of subspecies dragons. The sheer number you have inspired me to peek into the dedicated thread. I really love the gene/color combo associated. This particular one is a female ridgie, one of my favorite types of FR dragon, and is sporting another very appealing user-made accent that is surprisingly soft for the harsh nature of her subspecies. Her single piece of apparel is very fitting and does just enough not to overwhelm the accent or nature of her existence. [/columns]

The alabaster armour really makes the dark tones in their genes pop and the genes themselves give the impression camoflauge / a veteran guard which matches well with their lore!

His base genes are such a lovely combination too! The smoky almost blue-ish purple is incredible and the ghost kelpie mane matches PERFECTLY. And again, great use of apparel in that the colors gell but they're not SO matchy—or rather the apparel is contrast-y enough that both the genes and the apparel shine.

Also the apparel just matches / balances nicely, esp. how the bandages, bone tail, and sword tie in with their pale belly and horns.
Overall their genes / apparel (esp. the eyepatch) give the impression of a dragon whose lived through more tales than they'll ever share; color me intrigued!

I have a weakness for black & white colour schemes, but there are only a very few dragons which are really well done, as most of them make all the details and variations hard to see - not so Alioth! His outfit is perfection, it just looks complete in every respect and has something special and unique about it. The combination of the nightshroud and the feathery wings works in a wonderful way, the jewelry placement hits the nail and the subtle accent adds perfectly fitting touch ups (I love the impression of the halo on his head!). Extra points for that little chinchilla sitting on his shoulder and for the matching familiar!

Alright, my next weakness kicks right in. Dragons within the brown colour range, appearing like desert princes and having something mysterious and sublime about them? Budapest has it all (okay, after reading his bio I confess he might be a tiny bit more violent than I imagined him to be xD) and he's just gorgeous. I like that he isn't overloaded with apparel pieces, all accessories are placed on spot, so the patterns from his genes are still visible. Savannah and Peregrine work perfectly here! The best detail surely comes from his accent (which I have never seen before): the snake rounds off his whole appearance nicely and complements the snake on his foot!

I really like her concept - she appears to me like a arcane, enigmatic witch or enchantress, who sold her soul to dark magic. Maybe she also acts as an oracle (her swirl eyes?) or as a dark priestess; in any case her necromany amulet seems to indicate that she's part of a secret cultus. Whether that's true or not - she's wonderful!

For some reason I had to think about the universe and stardust when I saw her; she has something fragile and elusive, something quiet and pleasant. The patterns of her wings have a becalming effect on her whole appearance and she seems to gaze into the far distance ...

He appears to me like a silent wanderer, only accompanied by his cat and kelpie, acting as a guide for those who are lost in the woods. Probably he is blind and knowing the way with his other senses and the power of his mind only. I actually can't put into words well, what I like so much about him, but he just catched my sight instantly and I knew at first sight that he has to be my most favourite!
Let me please give extra honorable mentions to: Zerith (obviously), Bellodaous and Doll. They were just [i]too close[/i] to the 5 I picked in the end to not mention them at all. ♥

He seems like a good guy to just sit by and read books together, not saying anything to each other, just being in each others presence is enough. It made me sad to see others be wary and not let hatchlings near her when she doesn't mean any harm, she seems to just want to have fun after all! I also find it VERY interesting plants don't seem to die near her, makes me wander if she has some secret magic even she isn't aware about.
