Biography

"I saw everything unfold before my eyes and still decided to not lay a claw against fate. There is not a day in which I'm not thankful about it"

Terra is old, so very old. Not as much physically as Ghann but emotionally, or better said, mentally? she is too old for many things.

Born from an affair in foreign lands of the arcane territory, Terra was raised by her mother to never stay still and forever search the best, and if the best was not within reach, to look for the best replacement. She learned from her father to not fear the unknown and be wary of the old, be watchful of the quiet and the still and to always have a foot near the gates. With that knowledge ingrained in her gut and memory she set off once old enough to fly and hunt on her own accompanied with nothing more than a few scrapes and a hatchling serpent as her companion.

She flew and ran until everything hurt, and it all hurt. Her body in pain of over exertion and her mind tired of the same old words screaming at her, sometimes telling her she's better than that and to not fear to stay, other times old lessons hammering back to tell her to keep going but never telling when it would all be over or better. On one of her many travels she finally collapsed.

She woke up to the sound of chatter and rose with a start. To her side Gallahan was tending to her sore body, bandaging her limbs with a cautious look in his eyes, taken back by her sudden wake but still carefully laying doing his scraps. To her front she saw her beloved friend and companion playfully nipping at some fledgeling fae's (Citrus) fans, with a young mirror (Sun) intently watching in awe and wagging playfully around. At last she saw Ghann, the fae displaying her fans in concern but quietly lowering once the initial scare faded away. For the first time in her life Terra felt comforted to have someone by her side. She was "adopted" inmeadiately by the small group despite her protest but by the way she felt way too comfortable near them and how his own companion seemed delighted to have new company, she decided to roll with it and put to test the lesson her parents gave her.

Terra was close to Ghann, so close to her in fact that as time went on she became a sort of third-in-charge and a special confidant for Ghann as she shared her prophecies and foresight with Terra in such a raw and direct way, even sharing the less pleasant she tended to keep to herself, even the ones that spoke of the many struggles she was to suffer in many far away times. The pearlcatcher kept by her side despite everything, not knowing if she was doing out of loyalty, indebtment, empathy or just morbid curiosity of what fate really was when already armed with knowledge of it.

She could do no more than watch as her leader, adoptive parent and friend crashed down and shakily rose up again and again, never decisive, only taking the hits as they went, either emotionally physically or otherwise. Terra couldn't tell herself she admired the stance but she never talked down of it and despite everything she still kept at her side. She learned to tend to the physically damaged and with that knowledge she also learned to tend for the inebitably passed away, making their passage to the othe life as peaceful as possible. It was the least she could do if she was to stay until the end.

Now, with her leader stepped down from her position and with no better place to go, Terra still lives deep within the lair, every once in a while tending cases of health, or cases of loss. After all this time and with her own thoughts of the past no longer kicking at her to run away, she wakes everyday to spend any loss time she couldn't share with Ghann while on her worst, waiting for the next day patiently wherever it may find them.
