The enigmatic keeper and protector of the mysteries of the universe, and a divine being that has as many sides as the masks it is wearing, while its true face is hidden just like the truth of the universe will forever be hidden.  The many eyes within the many faces are all-seeing - they are not foreseeing the future, however, because the eternity does not allow mortal concepts like past, present, and future. There is no time, just an inextended point of presence of which Solaris is the manifestation. It is murmured that Solaris' eyes see more or rather different things than the God is seeing, and that Solaris might be more powerful than the God, and might even see the unseen beyond the universe - a nothing which the God itself is unable to see.  You encounter this divine presence and existence which is not something but which also is not nothing. It is something in between, something beyond, something unfathomable. Your hear a voice which is neither a whisper nor a roar, and you hear it clearly - but after it falls silent, you don't remember it any longer, and you feel like it might just have been your own voice hoping for the divine being to speak to you: "If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning. Everybody has a little bit of the light and the darkness, of the sun and the moon in them. Everyone is part of a connected cosmic system. We have a universe within ourselves that mimics the universe outside. None of us are just light or darkness. No one exists without polarities. Everybody has good and bad forces working with them, against them, and within them."  |
