They do not recall much of who they were before they crawled out of the Wyrmwound. They did not care for those extraneous memories and emotions that only served to complicate their existence. What mattered was that they had a purpose. Oh yes... the reason that we exist. To Serve--vive? To Survive? Two very different voices warred in their very soul, the IceWarden demanded servitude, loyalty, and justice. Something else was corrupting them, changing them into something that they were not. The Plaguebringer urged them only to survive. She wanted them to use their new life and new form to thrive. Nivis, at war with themselves and their new body; too hot, too many limbs, too many teeth and it was so hot here they would surely lose their minds shortly before casting themselves back into the Wyrmwound. Before Nivis could tear themselves apart, the IceWarden reached out again with a Mother's fury to protect her child that was so broken and lost. She saved them, guided them away from that wicked place, over land and sea until it was not so deliriously hot anymore. The cold soothed the fever of their new existence, and for the first time they felt peaceful. They were Home. • P E R S O N A L I T Y • Nivis speaks in the third person using "we" and "us" to describe themselves. They are hyper-focused when it comes to objectively observing and reporting what they see. When it comes to social interactions Nivis tends to lose interest quickly or become distracted by background noise or motion. Their emotional range is wide making it difficult for even pack mates to become close or even comfortable with the strange new addition to their ranks. • B I O L O G Y • Nivis speaks from its center head, and from observation the other two operate more like additional appendages than individual consciousnesses. The Left and the Right head each have more ‘feral’ behavioral patterns which is especially evident if the center head is in any way incapacitated. Each of the two flanking heads can hear and comprehend simple sentences from other dragons if the center head is incapacitated, but cannot speak in more than a garbled whisper. If the center head is unconscious the two remaining heads would have to coordinate with one another to move, each controlling their respective half of the body unilaterally. In this rare situation, they tend to bicker and fight with one another instead of coordinate. Occasionally, the two cycloptic heads will remain conscious while the center head sleeps in order to 'keep watch' and guard itself, effectively never having to be fully unconscious to recuperate.

"I come bearing the Mother's Will." Chroma spoke carefully to the Seeker Alpha that paced the small cave like a caged beast. Their agreed rendezvous location was not far from IceFallen territory, but Kaith had raced a storm to get there before it descended on the spot. Chroma had sent ravens with an urgent message to meet her storm or shine. Kaith was notoriously impatient with the Modern Breeds, they were too frivolous for her liking, and only by the IceWarden's Will did she agree to come at this one's calling. A muscle fluttered in Kaith's jaw. Before she could speak Chroma cut her off, "Fresh Blood to your ranks. This is... most unusual. Not a Gaoler..." Chroma became giddy. "Not a Gaoler? Only Gaolers can become a part of the Seeker Order or any Order!" Kaith snapped her jaws shut frighteningly close to Chroma's black mask that hid her zealous grin. Kaith's fury did not deter the little Oracle. "No, not a Gaoler." Chroma repeated with deliberate emphasis, then she became quite serious. "The Mother has seen it, and it has received her blessing. A Child that was lost returns to her. It will become our newest ally and you will train it to become most useful for the cause. The future of the Clan depends on our ability to adapt. It will teach you how to change as it does, adapt as it does, and see as it does." Chroma's voice rose and fell fanatically. "What is it?" Kaith demanded through clenched teeth, the hackles on the back of her neck were raised. She and Chroma were circling one another now, her patience for the little beast was drawing thin. Chroma chuckled, she began to back away towards the mouth of the cave. "You will know it when you see it... for now, pray to the Mother for strength, you will need it." and with that, she disappeared into the blizzard outside.

Nivis has been blessed with limited telepathic abilities which allow communication from a distance in the form of scattered surface thoughts and live feed images. They are incredibly fast. They will blast their foes with a freezing breath weapon before striking in a traditional Gaoler fashion. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Given Tertiary Gene: Fangs & Vial of Glowing Sight | May 2022 x
