Hime

- Grew up very sheltered and spoiled, her parents wanted to protect her from the horrors of the state of the clan in which she was born, as she was born while her clan was under siege and everyone was concerned it would be destroyed.
- Left her birth clan after watching her mother get murdered in front of her, when her half-sister, Quetzali, revealed that while she had grown up loved and cared for, one of her mothers (Grannox) had never given that same consideration to Quetzali. This broke the perfect vision Hime held of her parents, and ran away, unable to handle the truth, but unable to stand in a lie anymore.
- Unequipped for the world outside of her over-protective childhood, but is determined to be tough.
- Wanted to get as far from home as possible, so she ran to the scarred wasteland, where she met Hansel and fell hard for him. He introduced her to Shui's challenge and encouraged her to join him.
- Originally mistook her feelings of attraction for Hansel as proof he was her charge. But he is not... Shui is.
