Nýmphā was separated from her parents at a young age in a freak storm. Found by a maren Beastclan, one who followed the Tidelord, she was soon taken into their clan as they looked for her parents. They took good care of her, catering to her every whim, no matter how difficult to procure. Nýmphā began to become spoiled and willful, believing that her desires (especially for mischief) would always triumph.

One day, Nýmphā was led to the edge of The Deep and informed that she was to be the sacrificial bride that would calm the Tidelord's fury (the reason the Maren thought the Tidelord was no longer responding). Realizing that they had never looked for her parents, Nýmphā fought back against the Maren before being overwhelmed by their numbers. She was knocked down, sinking into the depths as she felt the pressure grow around her. Her last thought was a curse on the Maren clan who had found her.

Undine was born of the waves and currents. As she crested the water, she skimmed over the top, laughing at the bounce of the waves and the strength of the wind in her feathers. Her scales, once a beautiful blue, now glistened like the waves she played in. All knowledge of language had fled her, leaving her almost feral, an elemental in full possession of her power. Undine would notice ships crossing over the waves, sometimes playing with the foam left in their wake and sometimes sinking them in a fit of spite.

One day Undine found herself following a ship manned by a nocturne, a wildclaw, and a guardian. Curious by the captain's actions, she followed them to their port. Sticking around the ship, she began travelling less and less, although she still rode the waves whenever she felt them call to her. Occasionally Undine would sing, a sweet and haunting song without words, diving into the ocean whenever any dragon came to see who was there.

Name Origin: Nýmphā is nymph, in Greek meaning young woman; bride, young wife. Undine is derived from the latin word 'unda' meaning wave.

Last but not least is Undine, and wow, I had no idea tide and foam got that dark on ultramarine, it feels like the absolutely perfect colour to sort of represent the lighter tides and the darker depths of the sea. I really like the minimalist approach to her apparel too, the genes do a good job of keeping her busy but the apparel that is there adds to her fantastical, nautical vibe, especially the candles and the crystal. The whimsical image of her playing in sea foam immediately followed up by the idea that she can/could destroy ships on a whim is a very powerful, diametric image. Serpenta

The second is that woahhh aquamarine tide/foam is absolutely gorgeous, she looks like she contains a piece of the ocean within her. As an obsessive water dragon maker, I've always found pulling off darker shades of tide/foam to be super tricky, but Undine absolutely rocks her palette. The flame candles/sky crystal are super clever touches too; I always love seeing people think outside the box with their elemental dragons.
All around, you have an absolutely gorgeous lair. So so sooo many winners. It's clear you've put a lot of time and love into your dragons. It was an honor to gaze into their extensive world for even for this brief time! MrBungle
