Biography
Magna'Patrem
Lore
. |
"My love," hissed Magna'Patrem, "Do not fret. It is but a flesh wound after all." Despite his words, he could see the rise in Magna'Mater's brow that crinkled her uncommon gaze into a twisted visage of worry. He hated it when she made that face. He cursed his weakness and felt wretched that he was the one to cause her to worry over him. Yet, for all of the pain, he would fight in her stead every time. She may be the Matriarch of their clan and self-charged with their protection: however, he was her protector. Magna'Patrem felt the agonizing pain rush his mind when he dragged his right foreleg closer to his body. The creak of his gold filigree gauntlet grated on his ears. He silently glared at his leg to command it to obey him. His entire body trembled as he pushed his weight off of the ground with his lips curled in a silent snarl. Magna'Patrem straightened his posture and stared at Magna'Mater. His brow fell as he glared at her. He hissed, "I'm fine." He silently dared her to protest his word with his eyes. He heard a heavy breath rush from Magna'Mater's flared nostrils. He saw her muscles and her fins relax. Magna'Mater's voice weighed heavily on his ears, "You're so stubborn." | . |
Additional Information
.... The Titan Age Titan of Corporis(Body), Air, and Fire - The First Patriarch |
. . . . |
The Titan Age Magna'Patrem is a Celestial titan that came to Sornieth after traveling for a very long time in the depths of space. He and his mate Magna'Mater needed a place to rest after their journeys and found that they liked Sornieth and the creatures that the resident Gods created. That being said, Magna'Mater and Magna'Patrem did not want to step on any paws and they respect the Gods such as the Arcanist as the reigning deities of Sornieth. It meant that they did not have to worry about the safety or balance of the planet and thus, they could find the rest they wanted and have a safe enough place to raise their young. Because the dominant species on Sornieth were dragons, Magna'Mater and Magna'Patrem took the shape of dragons. Magna'Patrem became a Mirror because he felt that his domain was best represented by the species' notable traits. This ability to change shape was passed down to his children, which is why the Pantheon displays such a variety of dragon species. Magna'Patrem is the Patriarch of the Sanguinem Luna clan in the Titan Age; although many seem to forget that. His rough and fiery attitude often makes others wonder if he is truly a dragon descended from the Arcane flight. He is dedicated solely to the protection of Magna'Mater and would guard her night and day if he could. His quick temper is often directed at Tacet'Mare due to a highly possessive side that is brought out by the Imperial male spending time with Magna'Mater. The Pantheon Age Magna'Patrem is sleeping within his crystal to heal. The New Age Magna'Patrem is sleeping within his crystal to heal. Familiar Fed up with the congregation passing him up for years, Patrem's Serthis struck out to try and make a name for himself. When the Serthis attempted to attack Magna'Mater while she was taking a drink at a watering hole, Magna'Patrem was the one to intervene. The Serthis quickly learned that it was outmatched by the powerful mirror that seemed to be possessed by the very forces of darkness. It was then exposed to the rarest side of Patrem's psyche when the Mirror refused to kill the Serthis. Confused, the Serthis wanted to learn more about this strange Mirror dragon that spared his life. The Serthis has been serving Magna'Patrem ever since. Titan Caelestis of the Titan's Wake Lineage
Patriarch
This dragon is Magna'Patrem himself! He, alongside his wife Magna'Mater, founded the dynasty of Titans that make up the backbone of the Titan's Wake Lineage. Famed for his power and wisdom, Magna'Patrem wants to see his descendants grow into the incredible dragons he knew they were destined to be. And if they help make Sornieth a better place? All the better! He is a full-blood Celestial Titan and is capable of changing his shape (any attempts with a scroll will not render him infertile). As a founder of the entire family tree, it is not uncommon to hear of whispers that he speaks to and guides his descendants.
