The desert landscapes of the Earth Flight are filled not only with the usual rocks and sand, but also with many legends about the caves nestled within its borders. The Quest League Association was formed by a group of dragons who aim to test the truths of any legend that falls upon their ears. Quite recently they have heard some stories spun about the ancient caves in the Cairnstone Rest... Stories that talk of the richest gem deposits in all of Dragonhome. Many dragons have tried to claim this treasure but failed. Now the Quest League Association aims to be one of the few groups that not only secures treasure, but secures a place in history as well. But for this grand endeavor they will need willing adventurers to constantly bring supplies to the expedition team and aid them in their search! Each day the main expedition team will send a report back to the Quest League Association detailing that days finds as well as asking for advice on how they should continue on! [b]Should you choose to help out you will need to send out a team of three lv.5 dragons each day you want to vote[/b]. This is the only requirement for the event. You don't have to RP your posts if you are just interested in the story or just plainly don't like to RP. Extra dragons are not necessary but there is no limit to how many dragons you can send along to help explore. Same with sending along any 'supplies' with your dragon team. [i][b]Sending anything extra is purely optional but there are special prizes and badges! You do not need to have voted the previous day to be able to vote for the current day. [b]In order for your vote to count, we must have received a CR from you before Rollover (accepted already or pending) containing an exploration team of three level 5 dragons.[/b] To place your vote post on the thread with which option you'd like to choose and why. You can choose to write your post out as if you are sending a letter from the Quest League Association explaining your choice if you'd like! Again as stated above RP is not required but you are free to have as much fun with your replies as you'd like! We will be reading them all lovingly~! [b]You can send as many CR's a day as you would like with dragons! Please read below in the Sending CR's & Voting section for more information![/b] Each day's part of the story will be posted shortly after rollover and will try to take into account some RP posts as well. [b]Due to how the story moves along we will have two options for players. You can earn the badges by voting every day or you can do a pay-to-use.[/b] This way no one feels pressured to have to vote and send in dragons every single day if that's not something plausible, yet can still be a part! Also there are some special badges in the prize packs below! [b]Badges are earned as follows: 1st Badge- Earned for voting 2 times 2nd Badge- Earned for voting 4 times 3rd Badge- Earned for voting 7 times OR 1 Vote costs 20,000 Treasure.[/b] [/columns] [columns] [center] [color=saddlebrown] The Quest League Association would like to recognize its top providers with some prizes! Now there are only 1 of each prize. Only the absolute top sender will receive the prize, with the exception of the Participation Prize which is a raffle prize. We are not going to be counting it by the value of the items as we are not going to be liquidating the items ourselves. Yet for as many times as they had heard these stories never did they hear about anyone seeking out to find if there was any truth to them. So with not much to their names they set out to form the beginnings of a research group. It was hard to find dragons that were willing to work for little. Somehow they managed to get together a close knit of like minded dragons that were eager as they were to find out just how real the legends they grew up on were too. After that they were off on their first dig! It became aptly named the Quest League, however Association was eventually tacked onto the end because Papaya felt that Quest League alone didnt sound grand enough. Many dragons now work for and with the couple as they keep seeking out new myths and legends to debunk. It is only very occassionally that anything proves to be real but that doesnt deter anyone from continuing onwards. Several dragons are hustling around a huge camp, filled to the brim with large tents containing all matter of things. A few had bedding in them while others were teeming with books and crates of supplies. Just looking at the scene it was easy to tell that something large, no, something grand was going on. Two fiery looking skydancers were in the middle of everything, directing the other dragons here or there whenever they came up. Surrounding them were piles of paperwork and a few old looking maps. It seems that the next expedition for the Quest League Association had finally been figured out! Several dragons had been waiting weeks for a new adventure, keen to scratch the itch to get out of camp. Numbers were being crunched, supplies gathered into different categories and groups were being formed so that each dragon could do their best. The newest adventure was going to be taking the bravest of the dragons to Cairnstone Rest. Legends had it there was great treasures left within its caverns and caves after all the battles that had been waged over the years. Treasures and gems in untold numbers just waiting to be plucked from the depths. However these legends also spoke of skeletal wyrms that none had ever survived. Not only were these dragons excited to put these legends to the test, they were also excited to put their own skills to test. Afer much chatter the skydancers came to find out that for all of their preperations they still did not have nearly enough dragons willing to go out to the caverns, nor enough supplies. Within a few minutes they had managed to gather everyone into a small circle to make this announcement. Curry stood on the highest nearby crate proclaiming to those around to send out letters to all the dragons they knew! To tell them of the grand adventure that was to be had! Send out letters to taverns and cafes, to any community possible to recruit strong, brave dragons to join this adventure! This only left the obtaining of more supplies. It was on this matter that Curry and Papaya were divided. On one claw Papaya felt that it would be best to survey the surrounding area and gather more supplies themselves. Yet Curry felt that they should be sending out dragons to purchase supplies with some of the funding that they had available to them. No matter what they just couldn't manage to meet an agreement on the matter. So they turned to the dragons around them to present this question to them. Would they prefer to spend the time surveying for supplies themselves? Or would they prefer to spend the funds to purchase as many supplies as they were able? Naturally they were also open to anyone offering up supplies as well but there was too much required to depend on that entirely.
