As she reefed off the helmet though she finds herself in yet another one of the rooms of this strange place. As she sees the dice she doesn't ward herself with Glittering Spinxbands those where meant for predators not spells. Instead she hopes that by adding just a more little magic from home she could use it to return to her clan besides it seemed to have worked well before... hopefully it will work just as well this time. So she places some shimmering pine cones among the dice.

Crystalline shouted in triumph as the golem's helmet came off in his claws, but his yell quickly turned to one of surprise as he was dropped into the Slime Lab, the dice in his talons. He turned it over in his claws, puzzled -- did it have something to do with him appearing in this room? He shook his head and pocketed it again.
Crys turns to find a 12 sided die on the table -- would this one teleport him as well? -- but it disappeared before he reached it. Oh, well.
He turned to search the rest of the room, but bars lowered across his path. "Dammit," Crys growled, and turned to the door that opened onto the mosaic. "More dice?" Maybe they could send him home! He pulled out another pinecone. If they interacted with magic from the Tangled Wood, perhaps the dice could send him back. He placed a few by the dice.

The goddess took off and started flying straight towards a wall. "Ahhh! Watch out!" Nightshade yelled, before closing her eyes. When she opened them again, she was in another room entirely. She hadn't felt anything at all when they'd apparently hit the wall, but the Shadowbinder was gone again. Why had she abandoned Nightshade here? The Imperial spotted another one of these strange dice sitting on a table, but when she reached out to grab it, it vanished. Nightshade was starting to freak out a little now. This place made no sense at all to her. Moving into the next room, she found hundreds of dice lying on the floor. They had to be important somehow- Nightshade could sense strong Shadow magic emanating from them. Maybe they could help her somehow, but what if her Arcane powers clashed with theirs? She started to worry that she might never get home again. Reluctantly, Nightshade pulled out a few pine cones she'd collected before she'd gotten sucked into the portal and began preparing a ritual with them. She wasn't entirely sure what she was doing, but really, this was an experiment. What could possibly go wrong?

This grey one in front of me, well, it decided it wanted one of the dices and just grabbed it right out of my claws! I was still trying to figure out how to react as all dice and even the cat’s eyes (!) began to glow, and soon, I was blinded by a very bright light, completely robbing me of all sense of direction. I somewhat realized, I was drawn into yet another sort of portal and hoped, that I was finally about to get home, but then I was just dropped into another strange room. The dice had disappeared as well – or so I thought. One single 8-sided die was lying in the middle of the empty room. My hands where still well wrapped up in Glittering Sphinxbands, so I just picked that one up. Doing so, a set of very large double doors caught my attention. Heavy and creaky – those words described them perfectly as I was opening them, the die tucked away safely. Just as I was about to give up and just squeeze myself through the small door gap, they were yanked open from the other side and I came face to face with a pair of very large, very smelly feet! Slowly looking upwards, I saw a pair of armored knees connecting to the very large, very smelly feet, came to a heavy armored torso and finally a – quite ugly – head with glowing blue eyes staring at me behind an armored helmet. The only thing running through my head was: “GREAT, another monster! Who the hell would let a golem loose in their own house?!” Whoever did, they usually didn’t get a quite lot of visitors – remember the thing about trust, monster-y floors and all the other stuff from before? The golem fit in amazingly well in that list… But, how to get away from that monstrous thing without getting turned into mush? I decided to try and relieve it from some of its armor first. The helmet, although located quite the way up – seemed like the easiest part to get off right now. I also remembered that I read about Golems in the bestiary once… didn’t it say something about defeating them when one robs them of their helmet? I wasn’t able to finish my thoughts. The golem was charging at me and I had no time to come up with another plan. I hoped, those Shimmering Pinecones could distract it long enough to grab the helmet and get away from it safely… < Day 1 / Day 2 / Day 3 / Day 4 / Day 5 / Day 6 / Day 7 / Day 8 >
