He was getting out of here ASAP! Reaching into his hat again, he pulled out a stash of food he'd been keeping there for emergencies. [i]"Bugger off!"[/i] Roxy screams as he tossed the food as far from himself as possible, hoping that would be enough to catch the creatures' attention. [i]"I've had it up to here with this cursed dungeon!"[/i]

The mere presence of Shadowbinder is... Awe inspiring. Is this what the clan's exalts feel when they go to serve their chosen deities? It is both a frightening and exhilarating thought.[/size][/columns] Teensy's low groan snaps her attention back to the situation, and the approaching creatures that skitter along the ceiling. Briefly she considers tossing some of the food she has gathered for the clan to distract the critters, but that seems... wasteful somehow. Besides, she is an Arcane dragon, and taking the most direct route is not always the right one. Instead of throwing food at the creatures she conjures the Onyx Idol of Shadowbinder - when and where had she even found it? - and quickly replaces Shadowbinder with Shadowbinder, anxiously waiting for the result.

Gecko was happy it turned out, but all the tasty plantmatter and jumpy crickets were now gone, and not in hid belly, but just out of his vision, he could see a wall the Shadowbinder was aiming her flight for. [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6r_3HMTs9M]"Shadowbinder, where is the door hol-"[/url] [i][b]*swop!*[/b][/i] The next thing he knew was that he was facing a giant, terrible helmet golem who wanted to crush him like the frog he was! His aunt Desert Rain Frog jumped from his head and grabbed a die withher whole body, Gecko dodged out of the way and let his mouth take hold on her. Panicing now, he noticed some of the strange pinecorns laying around, so he made a quick spin and flinged them with his tadpole tail at the golem before doing a mad dash to climb ontop of him. He had to grab the shiny helmet, it must be what protected the weak bits!

The second after, I used some battle tactics I got hammered into my body from the hatchling-trainer back home: “Just get you’re backside out of harms way!” I took a few very big steps to the right and watched the golem closely. Whatever I was hoping it would do, I wasn’t expecting what happened next. The golem was actually enjoying my improvised missile so much it just gulped the Pinecone down in a few splits seconds! I saw my change, scattered the rest of the Pinecones on the ground, got airborne and snatched up the golems helmet while it was munching up all the ‘lovely food’. Right when I was about to step on it and get the hell out of harms reach, everything went dark again. Another portal enveloped me and I found myself being dropped in yet another room. What was it with all the portal-jumps in this place?! To my surprise, I was holding an 8-sided die in my claws as well. Tucking it away with the other, I started to look around. The room extended to your right, with a lever at the end and on it, something quite small was hovering above it. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a 4 sided die and with my wrapped claws, I reached out to pluck it from the air. Right at that second, my other claw developed a will on its own and pulled the lever as well! Whatever was going on right now, it wasn’t good… a trickster hates it the most, when it seems like they got tricked themselves. I felt uncomfortable in my skin, but hadn’t time to think about it longer as another pair of massive doors gave way to a truly gigantic cage! In it, something closely resembling Shadowbinder herself could be seen. After being confronted with so many illusions during this journey, I didn’t want to get my hopes up it could actually be the shadow deity. Her cage was congregated with shadows though; despite the room being so bright it actually hurt the eyes being in it. Now, figure inside the cage gestured towards a nice, big, red button to my left and though I ought to have known better, I pressed it. That same second, the cage swung open, who might actually be Shadowbinder emerged; and so did dozens of tiny little skittering creatures! I like cats and just about everything that walks or crawls, but those crawling creatures gave me the creeps! I didn’t want to get near them and as the Golem let itself being distracted by food so easily, I decided to throw some snacks at the creatures to slow them down. Fingers crossed they’ll go for it! [i]Wait... those ARE Shadowbinder's dice. Come on, Lath, you're not going to steal another Dongeon Master's dice ? Dice are important items to us rolists. Nah, I really shouldn't do that. It's not cool. Plus I'm pretty sure the Shadowlady would be mad at me and... I don't want the DM of this world to be mad at me. Well, maybe a bit of Tangled Woods magic would work to bing me back to my friends ? Being there wihtout any party is ... not quite as cool as it could be. [/i]
