@fenshae, @Karrikut, @Jaspernoir, @MysteryGyn, @SpaceSnake @Stri So I decided to throw rules to the wind for this post, but y'all will see. Still gonna do my battles, I just did something to help move this story along. Also I'd like to say, for my sanity, that I'm halving all of my pinkerlocke battle requirements as I'm finding myself having less time to play Flight Rising. Therefore, unless I get stuck with a death streak, the battles will go as follows: Plants: 5-10 Insects: 10-15 Seafood:15-20 Meat: 20-25 I know that probably seems pretty pathetic, but as the school year is progressing and I'm getting closer to graduating, I'm finding myself with more and more work, whether it be paid commissions or school assignments. I'm sorry to cut my locke like this, but I need it to be more casual/less time consuming with having to change my schedule.
Cormac had stormed out of the lair shortly after Baroke and Ferro returned with his brother's dead body. Kerius... was gone? How could this happen? But it didn't matter. His face was wet with tears and his lips drawn back in a snarl. Amnity followed him out, trying to stop him. "Cormac, it's too dangerous out here at night!" Amnity hissed, making a grab for Cormac's tail. Cormac swung around and snarled in Amnity's face. "I DON'T CARE! I'LL DIE FOR ALL I CARE!" He roared. "Cormac! Be quiet!" Amnity begged, but it was already too late. Creatures of the plagued wasteland began to gather around the two dragons. The two dragons watched in fear as they were surrounded by mutant creatures. "What are we going to do?!" Amnity whispered to Cormac. "Stay calm... Maybe Mom and Dad will come looking for us..." He said, unaware how far away they actually were from the lair. Amnity huddled close to Cormac as the creatures came closer. One edged away from the rest, jumping to strike at Cormac. Cormac braced for impact, but it never came. Instead, an agile form dropped down and attacked the creature, causing it to make a sickening sound of crunching bones. Glowing red eyes, four of them, zeroed in on Cormac. "Well? What are you waiting for?! Fight!" A gutteral voice growled. ~~~ With the stranger's help, Cormac and Amnity were able to beat the hoard of creatures back enough to allow them to escape and make their way back to the lair. Of course, the stranger tailed them. "So, milady, what brings ya out here?" The stranger growled out, though not maliciously, regarding Amnity. "Oh, I was just following my brother." Amnity said softly. "Your brother, hmm?" The stranger snorted. "Aye, and what were ya doing out here?" He asked. "Blowing of steam," Cormac said shortly before reaching the entrance of the lair. Cormac tromped inside the lair, not caring about the fact that a stranger had followed them back. Amnity only sighed. "Mom! Dad! Uncle!" Amnity called out, walking in with the stranger close behind. "We have a visitor!" Amnity stood beside the stranger and watched as Ferro, Lai, and Baroke came out into the lair to see who she was talking about. Baroke immediately narrowed his eyes. Ferro also made a face, furrowing his brows. Lai, however, had no reaction. "Who is this?" Baroke demanded. He glared at the stranger. He could see that he was a red mirror, and a plague one at that. He then took in the look of the mirror's outfit, a snarl forming on his lips. Armor, and an odd type of halo that had the Plaguebringer written all over it. The mirror stepped forward. "Aye, sir. I am Coagulation, a warrior of the Plaguebringer's personal troupe." He said with a slight bow. "Boring work, really, but it has a respect that I couldn't earn with anything else." So, Baroke's suspicion was right. "Get out then, you aren't welcome here." Baroke growled. "B-But Uncle Baroke, he saved us!" Amnity blurted out. Ferro then immediately looked over to Cormac, concern scrawled on his face. "I-Is this true?" Ferro asked Cormac. Cormac snorted and looked away, only answering with a small nod. Ferro let his nostrils flare with a heavy sigh. "I see. Then I say we let blood clot here stay a little while." Ferro muttered, seething with unexpressed anger, more from fear his now only son was killed more than anything. Baroke let out a heavy, exasperated sigh. "You really think I want an agent of the Plaguebringer herself here with everything that's happened?" "Oh, calm down Baroke." Lai said, not giving Ferro the chance to answer. "I'm sure he won't do anything." Baroke snorted and looked away from it all for a moment before turning his glare to the mirror once more. "Coagulation, eh? What were you doing out there when you ran into those two? Plaguebringer send you out on some malicious deed?" Coagulation cocked his head. "I was just out for a walk, no mission or anything. I work on the day patrol." He muttered. "And if I was on patrol tonight, none of you would have seen me, I would have been at the Wyrmwound. What do you have against the Plaguebringer anyways? Isn't she your matron to, plague brother?" Baroke stiffened at how Coagulation addressed him, but he let out a sigh. If what Coagulation said was true, then the Plaguebringer must have not known Baroke had returned. If she did, surely she would've told all her personal troupes to be on the lookout for him? "She was my matron diety, but I'm not sure who I want to follow or what I want to believe in now." Baroke scoffed. "I've had too many hardships." Coagulation sighed. "Sorry to hear that, plague brother." Baroke stiffened again. "Stop calling me that! My name's Baroke." Coagulation opened his mouth to say something else, but Amnity jumped in. "So, Coagulation, is your uniform from the Plaguebringer?" She asked. "Why, yes milady!" Coagulation said happily. "However, only really my leg guards, the Contaminated Infectalons, and the Contaminated Halo, the blessing of the Plaguebringer herself, are exclusive to the troupes. Everything else was picked out by myself." "Exclusive? An artifact?" Lai asked, stepping forward. Baroke and Ferro looked at her. An Artifact? Was what they were looking for just dumped into their lap? "Why, yes I suppose." Coagulation responded. Ferro quickly stepped forward. "You said your current job was boring, yes? How about you come with us?" He asked. "We're on a very important and lengthy quest, and when we return to our clan in the Starwood Strand, I'm sure our queen would have an even better position for you!" Coagulation cocked his head. "Hmm, an adventure is tempting. I've always wanted the excitement of going on a quest! However, if I just up and leave, the Plaguebringer would label me a deserter and have my head on a pike if I were to ever return..." "Please, come with us. Lives are depending on the success of our quest, any extra talons are a huge help. You'd be a hero." Baroke said suddenly. "I'm sure we'd be able to pay you somehow, and we're going to be seeing all of Sorneith. It's the opprotunity of a lifetime." Coagulation fell silent. He looked over at Amnity for a moment, thoughts running through his head. She was such a pretty dragon... and he, a hero! He could be sure that anything that made him a hero and landed a pretty dragoness at his side would be monumentally better than staying with the Plaguebringer and patrolling all day, with or without some sort of pay. "I'll go with you guys!" Coagulation said at last. "Screw the Plaguebringer! This is my dream!" "Welcome to the team, blood clot!" Ferro said, using the same nickname from earlier. "Now we can get out of this gods-forsaken place!" "We leave for Dragonhome at dawn." Baroke said.
There we have it! Everyone welcome Coagulation to the team! I was going to wait for a familiar drop, but it feels like the group was in the Scarred Wasteland forever and I want to move this tale along. So their artifact is Coagulation's armor, and if he survives through the rest of the Pinkerlocke, he'll become my clan's plague rep! Also I'd like to say, for my sanity, that I'm halving all of my pinkerlocke battle requirements as I'm finding myself having less time to play Flight Rising. Plants: 5-10
Insects: 10-15
Seafood:15-20
Meat: 20-25

I know that probably seems pretty pathetic, but as the school year is progressing and I'm getting closer to graduating, I'm finding myself with more and more work, whether it be paid commissions or school assignments. I'm sorry to cut my locke like this, but I need it to be more casual/less time consuming with having to change my schedule.
When the sun arose, Baroke was the second dragon to wake. He was huddled with his "family" since having been adopted as Cormac's and Amnity's uncle. He stretched out and made his way out into the main lair. Sitting near the door was the newest member of their group, Coagulation. Baroke glared at the mirror, still unsure whether or not to trust him. As if Coagulation could sense Baroke's eyes on him, the Mirror turned. "Aye, Baroke," The mirror drawled out. "You said we'd leave at dawn, yes? We better get going soon." Baroke said nothing in return and only responded with a nod. He then turned away and went back to the others, slowly nudging them awake. ~~~ The first thing the party did was stop to bury Kerius, having not buried him the night before. Baroke thought it was a sort of sick irony, the Plague lands steals away one of their own just to dump a plague agent into their laps. A sick sort of luck, perhaps, that they got the Plague artifact they needed, but at the loss of Kerius? "Gods, makes me sick..." Ferro spat, voice thick with tears, patting the rest of the dirt over the corpse. "No one should have to bury their own son, especially in this wasteland." "Is the way of the plague domain..." Coagulation said simply. "Though, you have my condolences." Ferro turned a glare to Coagulation. "Shut up, Blood Clot!" he spat. He opened his mouth to say more, but Lai hushed him, nuzzling into Ferro's shoulder. Ferro instead only gave an angered snort. "We should probably get going... there's no sense staying here any longer." Baroke sighed. "We have to get to Dragonhome for our next artifact, not to mention it will be safer there..." Coagulation quickly nodded in agreement. "I'll lead the way," He offered. Baroke scrunched his nose. "No. I will." He said. "But, it would be more beneficial for our safety if I lead. Any dragons we come across won't ask about me escorting a group of dragons somewhere, and if they will I can always say 'official business only' to deflect any suspicion." Coagulation said matter of factly. "No offence, officer," Baroke spat "but I just simply don't trust you. I'll lead." Coagulation rolled his eyes. At least, as best he could without having pupils. "Fine, but at least let me walk beside you so it doesn't raise suspicion." Baroke opened his mouth to argue, but Lai stepped forward. "Baroke, with your current status... It would be safest." The coatl said. "He'd be able to keep you from being caught." Baroke snarled but said nothing more. ~~~ The six dragons hardly experienced any difficulties crossing the rest of the wasteland and the Wandering Contagion with Coagulation near the front of the party. Any dragons they encountered slunk away at Coagulation's presence, and any creatures that attacked them were made quick work of. There was almost a collective sigh of relief as the dragons crossed the border into the Shattered Plain of Dragonhome. There was no longer a fear Baroke being caught nor a fear of the mutants of the Scarred Wasteland coming to kill them. However, Coagulation lingered at the border. "What, regretting your choice?" Baroke said, almost bitterly. "It's better this way. I'm sure Ferro can put in the good word for you with his queen and she'll set you up real good." Coagulation said nothing, he just watched as the sun began to set over what was once his home. He knew, after today, there was no turning back. "Hey, we should find somewhere to camp for the night!" Amnity called to the plague dragons. Coagulation quickly turned, reminded why he was here. He was going to be a hero, and hopefully win over Amnity, right? He quickly approached her. "Yes, milady." He said, disregarding Baroke or the rest of the group. "How about.... there?" He asked, pointing at a tall and rocky outcropping, sheltered by another rock surface. Amnity giggled in response. "Looks like a good place." Cormac added in agreement. Ferro flew up to the outcropping to check it out. "Seems deserted and safe" He called, motioning for the rest of the dragons to join him. @fenshae, @Karrikut, @Jaspernoir, @MysteryGyn, @SpaceSnake @Stri Hey all! It's time to breed the next legacy nest!
The young skydancer was completely unaware of being stalked as he wandered into the Starwood Strand. He didn't feel the eyes on his back or the presence around him until it was too late. Something landed on him from above, something serpentine and he almost thought it was an over-sized buttersnake until he was swiftly knocked out. He awoke in an unfamiliar den with a Spiral standing over him. She had beautiful, captivating eyes. "Hey! Dad! He's awakening!" The Spiral called. "Wh-where am I?" The skydancer asked. "Talkora found you unconscious in the woods," Another, older Skydancer said as he entered the room. "Said she had to beat a snake something or other off of you." The younger skydancer felt that this wasn't the truth, but didn't bother to mention anything about it.He looked over at the Spiral. "You're Talkora?" He asked. Talkora nodded. "Yes, and your name is?" "Oh, I'm Mehrune." The young skydancer said. He looked over at the other Skydancer, who he assumed was Talkora's father, then back at himself. Creepy... they could almost be father and son themselves. However, Mehrune didn't recognize this other Skydancer. "Well anyways, thank you for rescuing me, but I should really be on my way..." Mehrune said, getting up, but Talkora's hands wrapped around his arm quickly. "No, you should stay a while!" Talkora said with a wide smile. "Ah, as much as I'd like to, I have to -" Mehrune began. "STAY!" Talkora suddenly snarled before quickly returning her smile. "I-I mean, we'd love it if you at least stayed for dinner and rested up here for the night?" Mehrune jumped at the sudden growling, but made no other attempt to move away from the spiral. He sighed instead. "Oh alright..." He breathed out. He looked at her eyes. The once captivating, deep eyes were now constricted with an almost predatory want. Talkora beamed and hugged his arm. ~~~ Mehrune sat quietly as Talkora and her parents ate their dinner. He picked at the food and took a slow bite. It wasn't bad, persay, but he was uncomfortable for the most part. He wasn't really introduced to Talkora's parents, for one part, and Talkora had been oddly happy since he agreed to stay. "So, Mehrune, where did you come from?" Talkora's mother said. "Oh, uh... I came from the Light domain, but I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm uh... 'not the right look' for the Light domain, if you know what I mean." He said. "Hmm...." The other Skydancer mumbled. "Perhaps you could stay with us?" Mehrune stiffened but said nothing. He didn't exactly have a reason to stay, yet he didn't know where he was going to end up anyways. "Talkora could always use someone to be around as well," The Skydancer's spiral mate added. "She's been ever so lonely since her siblings died." Mehrune heard Talkora offer only a growl in response to the statement before darting off into one of the rooms off of the main lair. "H-How did her siblings die?" Mehrune asked, realizing after a moment there could have been a better question to ask. "Terrible hunting accident." The spiral said simply. Mehrune noticed the skydancer look away and furrow his brow. Something was up. "Talkora hasn't been okay since." The Skydancer then said. "She was terribly hurt when they were gone, and she's needed someone to be there for her, someone other than us." Mehrune wasn't sure how to respond. He felt bad for Talkora. Quietly he got up and followed where the Spiral had rushed off to. ~~~ "Do you think it's a good idea to manipulate that boy's good heart?" Surdane hissed to Aegis after Mehrune left the room. "This might be Talkora's only chance. She must like him, after all, she was the one who brought him here." Aegis replied, closing her eyes. ~~~ "Talkora?" Mehrune said softly entering the room she had disappeared into. He could hear her crying. He followed the sound, seeing the spiral wrapped into a ball withing a scrappy looking nest. Talkora looked up at Mehrune. The captivating, deep eyes he had seen before were back, and his heart couldn't help but ache for her. He took a step to curl around her, wrapping around her in a comforting way. "I-I may not know you very well, but If you need me.... I-I'll stay." He murmered. He felt Talkora shift and snuggle around his arms. ~~~ Mehrune found himself staying with Talkora and his family much longer than he anticipated. His days were filled having fun and goofing off with the spiral. There were a few moments that Mehrune had witnessed that spooked him a bit about Talkora, but he just pushed them off as behaviors that stemmed from being hurt when she was younger. It was quite shocking to see her randomly tear into an innocent creature she had been innocently watching moments before, he was going to admit. However, Mehrune found himself falling for Talkora as he stayed, and kept getting closer and closer to her. Her personality was captivating, how could she be so cheerful and fun loving, yet so dark and aggressive at the same time? And it seemed that none of her aggression was ever aimed towards him. Hey all! It's time to breed the next legacy nest!
Interesting Specimen Indeed wrote:

"Said she had to beat a snake something or other off of you."

The younger skydancer felt that this wasn't the truth, but didn't bother to mention anything about it.He looked over at the Spiral.

"You're Talkora?" He asked.

Talkora nodded. "Yes, and your name is?"

"Oh, I'm Mehrune." The young skydancer said.

47428385_350.png

"I-I mean, we'd love it if you at least stayed for dinner and rested up here for the night?"

Mehrune jumped at the sudden growling, but made no other attempt to move away from the spiral. He sighed instead. "Oh alright..." He breathed out. He looked at her eyes. The once captivating, deep eyes were now constricted with an almost predatory want.

Talkora beamed and hugged his arm.
~~~
Mehrune sat quietly as Talkora and her parents ate their dinner. He picked at the food and took a slow bite. It wasn't bad, persay, but he was uncomfortable for the most part. He wasn't really introduced to Talkora's parents, for one part, and Talkora had been oddly happy since he agreed to stay.
"So, Mehrune, where did you come from?" Talkora's mother said.
"Oh, uh... I came from the Light domain, but I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm uh... 'not the right look' for the Light domain, if you know what I mean." He said.
"Hmm...." The other Skydancer mumbled. "Perhaps you could stay with us?"
Mehrune stiffened but said nothing. He didn't exactly have a reason to stay, yet he didn't know where he was going to end up anyways.
"Talkora could always use someone to be around as well," The Skydancer's spiral mate added. "She's been ever so lonely since her siblings died."
Mehrune heard Talkora offer only a growl in response to the statement before darting off into one of the rooms off of the main lair.
"H-How did her siblings die?" Mehrune asked, realizing after a moment there could have been a better question to ask.
"Terrible hunting accident." The spiral said simply. Mehrune noticed the skydancer look away and furrow his brow. Something was up.
"Talkora hasn't been okay since." The Skydancer then said. "She was terribly hurt when they were gone, and she's needed someone to be there for her, someone other than us."
Mehrune wasn't sure how to respond. He felt bad for Talkora. Quietly he got up and followed where the Spiral had rushed off to.
~~~

"Do you think it's a good idea to manipulate that boy's good heart?" Surdane hissed to Aegis after Mehrune left the room.

"This might be Talkora's only chance. She must like him, after all, she was the one who brought him here." Aegis replied, closing her eyes.
~~~
"Talkora?" Mehrune said softly entering the room she had disappeared into. He could hear her crying. He followed the sound, seeing the spiral wrapped into a ball withing a scrappy looking nest.
Talkora looked up at Mehrune. The captivating, deep eyes he had seen before were back, and his heart couldn't help but ache for her. He took a step to curl around her, wrapping around her in a comforting way.
"I-I may not know you very well, but If you need me.... I-I'll stay." He murmered.
He felt Talkora shift and snuggle around his arms.
~~~

Mehrune found himself staying with Talkora and his family much longer than he anticipated.

He found himself loving nearly everything about her, and it scared him as much as it thrilled him.

Mehrune decided that he'd ask Talkora to leave with him, so that they could create a home for themselves, by themselves. Maybe they could create their own clan?

He walked into the room he was sharing with Talkora, certain she would be there if she was nowhere else to be found.

"Hey, Talkora I-"

"Mehrune, look!" Talkora interrupted with utter joy as she held up an egg. Her egg.

Mehrune paled for a moment before blinking off his shock and smiling, a tear welling in his eye.

"Talkora... that's great!" Mehrune smiled.

Alright, it's been a little while but let's get back into this. I'm good to go now that the new lair system is here and I can "easily" move dragons around and free up lair space. @fenshae, @Karrikut, @Jaspernoir, @MysteryGyn, @SpaceSnake @Stri
Mehrune yawned as he wandered into the den where Talkora sat with their one hatchling. He could hear Raiga, his son, squeaking and giggling as he and Talkora played hide and seek in the room. Talkora found the younger spiral easily, pulling him up in the air. "Hmm, if you want to survive in the wild, you better hide better than that!" She chided in a cooing voice, tickling Raiga. Mehrune laughed and walked over, and at the sight of his father, little Raiga squirmed out of his mother's grip and jumped onto Mehrune's neck. Mehrune gasped at the sudden weight, but kept his balance almost perfectly. "Ah, Mehrune!" Talkora exclaimed. "Could you take him outside? Maybe practice some hunting or fighting?" She purred. Mehrune quirked a brow. Raiga was still young, very young. Wasn't it a bit early for that? He snorted. "Ah, I'm sure that can wait a few more weeks, he should be playing like every other hatchling..." He said, watching Talkora's eyes narrow as he spoke. "Hm.. I suppose, but I'm sure there's plenty of dangers out there as well. Wouldn't it be terrible if he got hurt, or worse, because he wasn't trained, hmm? Who would be the heir to our legacy?" Talkora half-hissed. Mehrune was somewhat taken aback by Talkora's words. They were... very odd things to say about their son. "Uh... fine then. We'll practice on some grasshoppers..." He said, turning to walk from the lair. "Thank you, honey!" Talkora called after him. As Mehrune walked out of the Lair with Raiga, the little spiral spoke up. "Daddy, is it true that those three round sparkly stones mommy has will become my siblings?" Raiga asked, eyes full of wonder. Mehrune stopped in his tracks. "R-round sparkly stones?" He repeated. "Yeah, mommy said that you helped her make them and that they'd become my brothers or sisters. Do you remeber?" Raiga replied. Mehrune exhaled sharply. He had forgotten about that but it came back, hitting him like a ton of bricks. "Yes, Raiga..." he sighed. Alright, time for some Pinkerlocke lore fun.
As the other dragons slept, Amnity stayed awake, poking their campfire and keeping it burning. The Shattered Plain got quite cold at night and even though they had done well to pack the old blankets and things they found at Baroke's old lair before they left, Amnity felt better to have the fire going. "Quiet night, isn't it?" said a voice from behind her, causing Amnity to jolt. Amnity turned her head to see Coagulation approaching from behind her before coming to sit beside her. She gazed at the Mirror and let out a small sigh. "It was until you spoke..." She said simply, jostling the logs in the fire with a stick. The mirror beside her just chuckled. "You're very well natured for a Mirror." she added, taking in his laugh. "Ah, it is because I was not born as a Mirror." Coagulation admitted. "The Plaguebringer gifted me with this feral form so that I'd be a more efficient fighter. My father was an Imperial and my mother a Pearlcatcher." He explained. Amnity looked at him with wide eyes. "Wait, what?" She muttered. "I thought Imperials and Pearlcatchers hated each other? Does that mean all of the Plaguebringer's personal warriors are Mirrors?" She asked. Coagulation now had a more sullen expression. "Aye, Imperials and Pearlcatchers do hate one another, that's how I came to work for the Plaguebringer. My parents gave me up to her troupe shortly after I hatched. Wonderous, how they had the decency to surrender me to the Plaguebringer rather than just leave me to die. I don't even remember which breed I was before my matron diety formed me into what I am now." he said with a sigh. "As for her troupe being mirrors, mainly yes. Those who go into training young become Mirrors, but there are few who go in later in life, and are allowed to retain their forms. There were a few guardians that found the Plaguebringer to be their charge later in life, and they've remained guardians since." "Wow..." Amnity breathed out. "So you've spent your entire life up until now with the Plaguebringer? How could you just leave?" Coagulation snorted but kept calm. God, he chattered like a pearlcatcher but had the same calm nerves of an imperial, it wasn't even funny. It was like he was a completely different dragon trapped in the body of a Mirror. "They may have raised me, we may have been close, but there was hardly anything familial between any of us. We were all built and trained to fight, to kill." He said, almost spitting the words. "We were all to stay close to the Wyrmwound, and I wanted nothing more than to find adventure or to find a new family. I consider you lucky to have them." Amnity let a small squeak tear from her throat. "But they aren't my real family," She said quietly. "Yes, but they love you and dote one you, right? They'd do anything to protect you, yes? You call them mother and father and brother and uncle, and you love them as well, I can tell. I can see they aren't your biological family, but they are as real as a family can get. I had none of that." Coagulation replied in a calm voice, though Amnity was sure what she said had offended him. "Tell me, how did you end up with them?" Amnity squeezed her eyes shut at the memory. "Ah... my whole family was moving..." She choked out. "Our home was destroyed and we were traveling when our group was attacked in the Wasteland. I only escaped when I ran for the nearest structure, where they were currently residing..." Amnity felt Coagulation come closer to her, wrapping a wing around her. She didn't open her eyes, however, until she felt a small lick on her cheek. Her eyes cracked open and she looked over at Coagulation. "You're loved." He said simply, as if knowing Amnity felt out of place among the group, and as if he knew she felt like she had no one despite being openly welcomed in this group. She felt tears well in her eyes but she quickly blinked them away. "Th-thank you..." Was all she could muster.
GAH I hope this is alright, I wasn't quite sure how to develop their relationship and I wanted some development in case I get an apparel drop [emoji=guardian winking]

"Would you like some help, milady?" Coagulation asked in a calm voice, picking up a tattered blanket that Amnity carelessly left behind her in her haste to stuff her bag with other things.

@fenshae, @Karrikut, @Jaspernoir, @MysteryGyn, @SpaceSnake, @Stri, @OceanPuppy SO LIKE I GOT A FAM DROP and now my lair is full and I can't hatch nests until my hatchlings sell lol
The group trudged across the shattered plain, collective panting emitting from all of them as the sun beat down on them. "I like how we just went from one desert to another!" Ferro spat, flapping his wings in a vain attempt to cool himself off. Baroke rolled his eyes. "Just shut up!" he growled. "It'll be better once we get to Greatwyrm's breach." "At least we aren't in the scarred wasteland anymore," Lai pipped up. Oddly, the younger three remained quiet. That was, until, Coagulation suddenly seemed to be on alert. A small growl tore from his throat. "What is it?" Ferro asked, slightly more exasperated then concerned. "I smell blood," Coagulation growled out before scurrying off to the side. Even if he wasn't fully a Mirror, he still had a few instincts of one. "H-hey, wait!" Amnity called after Coagulation, following him. Amnity could hardly keep up with Coagulation, the Mirror faster than she expected. Luckily for her, being a Skydancer made it easy to move swiftly and remain on his tail. She heard the others lag behind her, Ferro, Lai, and Cormac eventually getting left in the dust. Baroke, however, was doing a well enough a job keeping up with Amnity. "Don't let him out of your sight!" Baroke puffed out, slightly behind Amnity. The chase went on for a few more moments before Coagulation suddenly stopped in front of a grey mass. If it wasn't for the slight rise and fall of the sparkling hide, Amnity would've thought it was only a shiny rock. Coagulation approached the mass and rolled it over, revealing it to be a lone Bogsneak hatchling, a nasty gash bisecting her chest and running down the inside of her leg. "Dieties above...." Amnity gasped, rushing over to the hatchling. "We have to help the poor thing!" "Amnity," Baroke growled. "Our group is already big enough..." Amnity squinted her eyes. "You didn't turn me away," She hissed. "That was different!" Baroke retorted. "How?!" Amnity cried. "I think we should take the hatchling in," Coagulation pipped up, pulling out some bandaging from his utility bag. "At least we can find an Earth clan that maybe will take her in. Even if she has to stay with us, I'm sure I could train her." Amnity and Coagulation both stood dumbfounded, staring at the Mirror. He nudged the hatchling until her earthen-grey eyes cracked open. "Huh?" She rasped out. "Wh-who are you? Where am I?" "You're safe, I'm Coagulation and we found you out here..." Coagulation said. "What's your name? Can you walk?" "I'm Cisco," The bogsneak replied, shakily standing. "I'll carry you." Coagulation said. "If you want." "Sure..." She said, clambering onto Coagulation's back. "I guess..." Then Coagulation simply began to walk back to the rest of the group, leaving Amnity and Baroke looking after him dumbfounded befrore scurrying after him.
A new group kiddo and my only Bogsneak lmao. And a new facet of Coagulation arises. I'm beginning to love him as a character.

"It'll be better once we get to Greatwyrm's breach."

"At least we aren't in the scarred wasteland anymore," Lai pipped up.

"We have to help the poor thing!"

"Amnity," Baroke growled. "Our group is already big enough..."

Amnity squinted her eyes. "You didn't turn me away," She hissed.
