I'm pretty pleased with them - both hatchlings picked up a secondary gene! In honor of the completion of the Wind legacy, I think I'm going with the offsite RNG for Nature as well. i read through the whole thing after you bought the snapper from me, and i really love the idea. i hope she helps you get what you're looking for, and maybe i'll try doing a legacy challenge myself with the next egg i hatch.

Like the nature founder, I hatched this egg myself (the wind and lightning founders were puchased from the dragons for sale forum back when I was a newbie and didn't have fancy things like unhatched dragon eggs). He's midnight / sunshine / teal. Something has gone horribly wrong with my lightning nest rental. The lightning gen 10 couple went to another lair to lay their nest...and somehow the skydancer consort ended up on a nest with another skydancer, instead of the heiress. 25 days until I can try again - I could cry.

Update: Accidents happen, so the legacy couple is waiting out the cooldown in the host lair. It seems lightning is just going to end that much behind wind after all, but it's not a real disaster.

@GhostQueen13 Sure, I'd be glad to. It'll be a while though, because I really only have space to do two at once, so nature or fire will have to end first.

If you want another interesting shadow legacy share to read, my friend @drgnhawk is at least 70% done with hers: drgnhawk's shadow legacy. She puts a little more story into it than I do.

Aspen and Chamise laid three eggs, and once again both RNGs agreed on the heir. She picked up a gene, and swamp might not be the prettiest color in the wheel but you can't complain about double-ivory! (She's XYY.) [/b] It feels good to be officially done with one. Lightning's heir should be home in another day or two, and then it's onward to the first nest for fire!
