When only a few months old, he set off to find adventure and to explore the world, see the beauties that she held in store for him. On the way, he met up with a dragon named Keffria and the two became good friends while traveling. Ballad has no memory of his past, only that he lived in a small group of dragons and a lullaby known as the ballad of the night. He also is guided by a strange guide, who speaks to him and teaches him magic. He is a born leader and likes to keep secrets. ----- ----- KEFFRIA [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=31606211] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/316063/31606211_350.png[/img] [/url] [b]Bio for Keffria:[/b] Keffria is a sweet dragon who is also very vulnerable. She's very close friends with her brother, and was going to be sent to work camps for the remainder of her childhood; where her brother had been sent. She runs away, however, and meets up with a dragon named Ballad. She's baffled by two secrets she has slight memory on that he left behind, but is rather good friends with him. Keffria eventually reunited with her brother and now lives in the mountains, adopting a young child named Rye. She also has a bad relationship with her parents, hating them for sending her and her brother away to the camps. His father abandoned him, and the child went from foster-home to foster-home. He seemed happy; making friends and brightening other's days, but on the inside he was sad. Rye only ever wanted a family of his own. When Keffria, a dragon that also came from the forest, came to his little village home, he saw a new chance. Rye then went on to live with her, and was adopted. His markings on his body seem to hold a mysterious power... Rye is a sweet dragon who has a nice singing voice. ----- ----- IZAK [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=33231205] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/332313/33231205_350.png[/img] [/url] [b]Bio for Izak:[/b] Izak has lived in the mountains his whole life, and loves it there with the little village he lives in. He's deeply interested with magic, but knows nothing about it. Izak hopes to one day leave the mountains and explore, but right now he is happy where he is. She seeks to grow more and more powerful, and travels with a strange dragon called Aranad. Their companionship is shaky at best, vicious at worst. Marva is very selfish and ambitious, but also very smart, and doesn't trust anyone but herself. He doesn't want anyone to know about himself, and hates when others ask him questions. He seems to have an innocent child-hood growing up, also as a young adult, but no one really knows the truth. If you ask about the ring he wears, he's known to get extremely angry and threatening. Aranad is ruthless and cold, and most think it wise to just leave him alone. ----- ----- PEPPIN [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=33295453] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/332955/33295453_350.png[/img] [/url] [b]Bio for Peppin[/b] Peppin is an outgoing dragon that isn't afraid of much, if anything. She has a bitter, frustrating past that sent her to go and travel, never settling in one place and causing her to not trust other dragons. Despite this, she has made acquaintances in the past and is known to be willing to congregate with others. Finally curiostiy brought her to one of the only ranges of mountains in the realm, where she finds a small group of dragons living together deep within them. Peppin befriends one of the children there, a boy named Izak. No one knows much about Peppin, and most about her remains a mystery. ----- ----- AERA [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=34982602] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/349827/34982602_350.png[/img] [/url] Aera is a sweet, quiet dragon who can also be quite fierce. She learned this from her father, who taught her basic self-defense if she couldn't use her magic. She is also a mage and part of The Order of Mages, situated in an outpost in the forest. Aera feels like she owes a debt to the leader of the outpost, Ryla, who's husband died protecting her. Aera is a powerful mage who often hides it between sweetness and bashfulness. She loves nature and is very loyal to her group of mages in her outpost. She also is interested in Ballad, who just recently came back to the outpost. ----- ----- RHAXU [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=34948209] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/349483/34948209_350.png[/img] [/url] Rhaxu is a young dragon who ran away from home, hoping for a better future that could be controlled by his own will. He's headstrong and proud, but also has a soft side. He huffed, glad to have clear ground at last. His thoughts were foggy, unclear like he was trying to look through a water-drop. This unsettled and frustrated him, but he tried to hold onto some clarity: a melody. Trying to ignore his confusion, the dragon held a surprising strength to continue onward. The dragon wondered what was beyond this forest. Something inside of him decided to press forward, to weave between closely-knit trees to figure out what was there. He could see brush up ahead, perhaps a thorn bush. The hatchling growled, but stepped forward, shoving himself into the sharp bushes. Maybe he should’ve tried going around them. It was a smarter idea than this one, but he ignored his confusing mind and warred his way against the thorns. The melody, that was there. It was comforting, something to cling to. [i]Sleep now, sleep now, You little child, For the sunset is red, And you are resting in bed...[/i] He continued to hum it, feeling this melody soothe his frayed nerves. He sang boldly, singing out against the challenging forest. I just couldn't resist, lol. I'll do fresh art for today later, but have this sketch and some writing for now! (I really want to introduce Keffria, guess you can consider this another broken rule XD) @Spottedleaf125 - ping for new update! c: [img]http://imgur.com/3TRMGnq.png[/img] ----- ----- Keffria wandered around another tree-trunk, wondering if she was going in circles. It sure felt like it. But she had never seen that birch before—and there was an extremely old oak tree! She’d never seen that ancient thing before, with roots writhing out of the ground to lay hazardously across her path. Her stomach rumbled, reminding her that she hadn’t eaten since she had left home. The little child sighed, sitting down on a particularly large root. She was scared that predators were going to come and eat her, or worse—torture her and [i]then[/i] eat her. Keian told her about such stories, and they made her shudder. Keian. She missed her brother something awful, and her heart ached almost as much as he stomach—except it didn’t grumble. A month before he’d been sent away to the work camps—those dreaded places that had seemed harmless, funny threats—until he was gone one morning. Her parents didn’t seem to care, which made Keffria feel even worse. How could Mama and Papa not feel bad for sending Keian away? He had always been good, doing all his chores—just like she did. Keffria’s stomach rumbled again. She needed food. She began to hunt for some insects—a favorite of hers, snuffling around the roots and scrabbling at them with stubby claws. At last she found enough to sate the aching in her belly, then she curled up underneath a root and fell asleep. Her last thoughts were to hope that any scary predators that her brother had warned her about wouldn’t spot her hiding spot. — The young child was exhausted from a long day of travel, even though during the day he’d felt fine. It was like the night, when the moon showed her face, came so did his sleepiness. His feet began to stagger, even on the clear path before him. He needed to find a good hiding place to sleep, he realized. And then the dragon stumbled upon something totally unexpected: another dragon. The dragon was his age, bright blue against a dark root and dying grass. They would’ve been easily spotted, as he had seen them right away. He snorted at the dragon’s folly, but then realized that he was thinking of hiding in a similar place. “What?” He murmured, suddenly looking up with a flash of bright red eyes. He waited a moment, then nodded. “Ooh,” he said, as if understanding something. He sat down and began to attempt to snap his fingers, which took a while. His fingers began to ache, sore from rubbing against one another without any satisfying click. [i]Snap![/i] At last, he had done it. Thanks! c: Yeah, me too, aha. I *do* have plans of someday making her reunite with her brother, (who will most likely be a made-up minor one time sorta character unless I actually find a drago to fill the roll) however... Pinkerton might not want me to. XD We'll see how it goes!

Alsooooo, I wanted to ask for some help with coding... I was wondering if you could help with linking links back to different posts on different pages so people can go straight to whatever day they want. One time I attempted to do it but it didn't work. x3

I also hope I didn't deeply confuse you with that sentence, haha. Thanks for any help! :D (giving me a thread if it explains it would be great, unless you care to explain it)
