Hey everyone - we have implemented a possible fix for this issue - can you all try logging in/out and navigating to pages where you were seeing tutorials pop up and let me know if you see them still? We are actively working on this and would like as much participation and feedback as possible.

For most players they are behaving, but they are not intended to pop up all the time. We'll be addressing this as soon as possible.

The lowering your inventory items is a good temp fix that you can do, but we're gonna get this resolved in a future fix. Your battle item count should not limit your ability to use the coliseum.

Corsair's set will be pulled as individuals and the pack. We're cycling in some new gem apparel. :-)

FR serpentfolk are not in keeping with the narrative origin of nagas. So they get a unique name, and can be a little bit more unique to FR at the same time. There will be more Serthis in the future. I know that we've had quite a few requests for male versions. :-)

Marketplace Apparel:

Corsair's Apparel Cycling Out:
The Corsair's Apparel set will be cycling out of the gem marketplace on September 11th, so get them while they last!
Flameforger's Festival:
We hope that everyone has been enjoying the Flameforger's Festival celebration. As a reminder, the event will be coming to a close Saturday, August 31rst at 23:59PST.

Additional Changes:

• We're now taking skin submissions for the marketplace. Pop on in this thread for the full rules and details.
• Naga familiars have been renamed to Carmine Serthis and Opheodrys Serthis.
• Veteran's scar items are now usable on skydancer dragons.

Known Issues:

• Google checkout was not processing payments correctly, and has been taken down until we have resolved the checkout issues. All players who purchased gems during the affected period have been refunded.
• Certain players are unable to access the abilities and stats screen in the coliseum. We are investigating the issue.
• Skydancer adult sizes are displaying as hatchling sizes.
• We've made some changes to how the tutorial windows present to new players. Certain players are seeing them pop up fresh as if they are a new player. We are looking into it.

Is it possible that either of you have one another on their Block List? If a user blocks you, Crossroads requests will not go through.

Please do not bump topics in the Bug Report forum; as it skews our monitoring of issues. :)

As for the issue at hand - does it appear to happen on any other browsers? I am wondering if the browser you're using has a setting that is preventing some data to get through.

As much as I understand that this is frustrating, we would rather continue to optimize and fix issues than let them sit. Sometimes these fixes can cause other things to be affected, but we will always monitor the situation and move to address those as well. Thank you!

Does the issue resolve itself if you drop and re-add the person as a friend?

Hey everyone,

This was part of the change we made last night. Before, there was a check for the "have I read this window" every time you visited a page. As you can imagine, this led to thousands of useless, extraneous queries that could possibly pile up and cause issues.

The change eliminates those checks entirely if you have already seen the windows once. Unfortunately, it appears that some of you did not translate over smoothly, but this should not have any adverse effects on your account and should work regularly moving forward.

If you are seeing the windows again, one read should return them back to normal. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience!

EDIT: Another thing to try is reading all of the pop-ups, then logging out/in. The login event should properly recognize that you have read them.

Naga and Lamia are both inaccurate for Flight Rising's snake-folk. It's for the best to give them their own name; Naga is pretty far off from the narrative origin of the naga. Since we would like to introduce males down the line, lamia is odd too. So FR snake folk are now Serthis. This change will be noted in the next update's changelog.

Hi everyone -

Wanted to give everyone notice that our rollover period may run a bit longer than normal tonight. We are going to be optimizing some data queries that run fairly frequently so that they are leaner and don't hog as much processing time. In my efforts to continue to be as clear and transparent as possible with you guys, I'll provide updates if things go longer than expected!

Updates:

• (00:25) We have concluded that the change we made is sufficient and will be opening the site back up at 00:30 as normal. We, however, will be monitoring the situation for any issues that arise. There is a possibility we may extend the maintenance if anything crops up.
• (00:13) We have successfully implemented the changes mentioned below and are testing to ensure that they did not adversely affect anything else.
• (00:03) We are making some alterations to the database that should cut out many extraneous data queries that are spawned on most site page views.
• (23:50) We experienced a brief service interruption and restarted some backend systems. This appears to have resolved it.

They're in the marketplace now, but I've been watching and they are either stocking less frequently, or being sold out more frequently. I've upped the quantity that they stock at.

3/4 are currently in-stock now.
