If you put in an e-mail ticket, you will be receiving your notice of the scroll delivery through e-mail.

Several hundred e-mails later: We have responded to everyone who put in an e-mail about reg through our contact form. (through 3:00 October 24th)

• In some cases we noticed that certain e-mail providers tended to stuff our confirmation codes in their spam folder.
• In some cases there was a typo in the e-mail or user name when the registration was processed.
• In some cases, they were registrations that were processed during the time when reg was broken (5:00-6:00 on Oct 23rd), and so didn't exist. (in which case, reregister please)
• In some cases the confirmation code was not working because the player had already confirmed their account, and just had to log in.
• In some cases we had no idea what went wrong, but could manually look up the confirmation code if the registration was otherwise successful.

We've narrowed this problem down to the password reset system itself. Recovering your lost password/resetting it makes it so that you can't log in!

Obviously this will not do! We are forwarding this information onto Lightsky and will let you know when we have a fix in place.

Last night we had an actual double tick as the programmer were fixing the timed events around site (they manually ran the script twice by mistake.) We topped off everyone's energy because of this, and things are back on a 6 hour tick schedule again. Apologies for the hiccups last night.

10/23/13 - Early Registration Issues

• 07:03 - If you are receiving the error “Username and confirmation code do not match” please re-attempt the registration process from the very beginning (via the sign-up page). If you are getting the error again after a complete retry, please reply here so that we have an idea of the volume. Thank you!
• 06:03 - We believe we have resolved the issue. Please attempt to register by completely starting the process over. Any confirmation emails prior to 06:00 may be invalid.
• 05:48 - We appreciate everyone's patience while we muscle through this unexpected issue. Work is continuing, and we believe we are getting closer to the root problem.
• 05:03 - We are investigating an issue in which registration cannot be completed. Please keep your confirmation e-mail handy. These emails possibly contain invalid confirmation codes. Once we make an update that registration is functioning properly, it may be necessary to start over.

The programmers were making some science to our login system last night. Please try clearing your cache to see if it resolves your issue.

We'll be pointing the programmers to this topic in the morning when they're awake. :-) Apologies for the troubles getting back in!

No. Everyone gets one free flight change without a cooldown. This will include new accounts too.

I've been tracking all of the energy ticks (which are global) on my account. WHile I don't catch every tick, every 24 hour cycle has been yielding a total of 4 depleted energy. Tonight would be the first recorded instance of a double tick, and it's because our tests forced the script.

I've been testing for the better part of a week and a half, so I'm gonna call this one debunked for now. :-/

There was an issue with our timed events and a change that we'd made to the site. Our programmers believe that they've corrected this. We're eager to watch the even numbered rollover too. In theory all is well again.

The timed jobs were borked tonight, so while testing the energy script was run twice. To make up for this we topped everyone off. Sorry for the double tick!

All is well. When our programmers were testing the timed jobs, we ran the energy script a couple of times. We filled you up extra full to correct this. :-)

Tomorrow morning we will be opening our doors to new players during our registration window. Please note that the site may go into maintenance mode from 4:00-5:00 as we prepare to welcome our new friends.

10/22/13 - 19:00 We are experiencing several site issues right now in regards to timed events. We are rigorously working to correct them and wanted to thank everyone for their patience. The work is ongoing and we will provide as much information as possible.

• 21:50 We have topped off everyone's energy, and are watching all the timed events around site to ensure that our work tonight resolved the issues we've been experiencing.

• 19:04 We are currently in a meeting with LightSky and working through the code base to locate the cause of the malfunctions.

@Nobody A flight recruitment forum is not likely, as there would probably only ever be 11 topics in it. THere needs to be a bit of a larger need to warrant an individual forum.

We do have more forums planned for the future, such as a giveaways, introductions, and guides forum.

@Kaytara I don't think I've seen those before, though they do look like close cousins of Queen Broccoli. Your artwork is awesome!

@Andrea All dragons will retain the eye color they currently have, but hatchlings that come out of your lair will have the new element's eye color.

Do your dragons long for a change of scenery? Have you found that your clan's attunement to the elements is shifting? While not common, groups of dragons have been known to emigrate and establish a home in foreign lands and adapt to the culture of other flights. It is now possible to change your flight from the Account Settings page.

Much like name changes, each account will be receiving one free Flight Change, and each subsequent change will cost 1500 gems. Flight Changes have a six-month cooldown, so if you plan on moving, give lots of careful thought to your new destination!



New Familiars

Two beautiful new familiars are now stocking in the Treasure Marketplace. The Tourmaline Vulstal and the Spinel Vulstal were Kickstarter-sponsored by our own Flight Rising moderator, Lune! Thanks for such a fun piece to work on!


New Apparel

Some dragon breeds require a little extra oomph to reach the highest altitudes in the realm, and they've been known to don the Skypost Winghelm and Skypost Sandals in order to achieve that lift.

Skin Retirement

We'd like to put out one more reminder that the following skins will be retired and leave the marketplace forever at the end of the day on October 23rd: Red Plaid, Glitter Vomit, Maroon Swirl, Dem Bones, Royal Green Butterfly, Red Gecko, Blue Girdled Angelfish, and Indigo Scale.

@Marine Thank you for your concerns. We have always strived to have each species be completely unique to Flight Rising. No one wants their world to be the same as someone else's. As such, we are looking into altering our lore so that both dragon breed retain separate and indentifiable characteristics. We certainly DO NOT want our dragons to ever be confused for another world's dragons, especially within a niche genre. :-) Any changes made to the lore will be noted in the next update!

@Steampunklayhr Your accent was accepted several day ago. Please send us a message through the contact form if it did not arrive safely. :-)

Ah. The sprite is probably half-loaded and cached that way. It'll clear itself up eventually, but if you'd like to expediate the process you can try clearing your cache.

Swipp's bottles will be returning after we resolve the stacking issue he's been having. He's misbehaving and his stackable items don't stack! Not a big deal for familiars or apparel, since those do not stack anyway, but for someone who trades for 25+ bottles, it's somewhat problematic.

I think that breeding for the perfect dragon is the most challenging (and fun!) Find a pair that has the colors you are seeking within their range, and then start narrowing it down. This is a bit time-consuming, but you can create some pretty neat dragons along the way =3

Swipp is our problem child with stacking right now. To clarify: he doesn't. We'll be working on this. Thank you so much for the reports!

No offense taken at all. I fully recognize that it's quite a confusing neck. Been trying to be more mindful of my posing. :-)

Xhaztol says its on the southern edge of Starwood strand, closer to the wind border than the plague one. It is considered a neutral zone, and not part of the arcane territory. :-)

The hippojay is more rare to dig up than the scorpions and such, as it has the rainbow star rating. Very low gather chance. It is a fishing familiar though.
