Public betting topics in the forums are not something that we'd allow. If you want to have a private bet with a friend for treasure, that's fine.

We 100% do not allow any bets to take place that involve gems, private or not. It's too close to gambling with real money. (Yes, I know you can earn gems through gameplay, but they can also be purchased, and that crosses some legal lines to allow anything even remotely resembling gambing with gems!)

@Hel, it's fine to request just a few scrolls back. Unless a specific number is requested back, we're going to do our best to track down the full amount we an verify and refund those. If you want less than that, that's fine. :-)

@Ruck, that's fine. Did you say in the second message that it was a duplicate? If not, I should track those down and tag them so Arahtim or one of the other admin doesn't look you up twice.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this is literally one of our top, top priorities right now, it's just taking awhile to understand where things are breaking down so that we can improve the feature. Thank you again for being constructive and patient!

No gem apparel this update. We will have something new for our gem patrons later this month for sure though. :)

@Rexi They'll show up in your mailbox, yup! Note that ONLY the bestiary backer reward level has shipped out. If you got "All the things and more" "Buttons" or "Ultimate Gallery", those are still sitting in my living room being stuffed into many many packages >.> Hoping to get first wave of All the things and more shipped out in a few days.

@GadzooksTD We’re not equipped to maintain a store that ships physical items year-round. The only way a “reprint” would happen is if we go through a third party print-on-demand publishing option such as lulu, indyplanet, or the like where they print and ship as needed.

The bestiary has most of the critters currently on-site, but things that came out in the last month and a half did not make the print cut-off date. It's 78 pages long I think.

Fable did the tunics, yes. :-) They may look a little bit different because there was some soft airbrushing used to make them look "silky".

Eggs have a very low drop rate across many monsters. They're more of a random treat than a farmable item.

1 day has a 1% fee, and 3 and 7 days have a higher fee. I'll need to ask Akiri for the specifics, but I think it's 2% and 3% respectively. (Again, not sure on the specific number, but I can confirm that they are higher.)

I do not see the auction house icon for him anymore. Auctions clearing and/or returning items can take up to an hour, so it's possible that when you posted this we were still in that timeframe. Let us know if you have any further problems!

@Imp Actually, they're account-bound, so they aren't tradable or sellable. They're essentially giving you an equal amount of opportunties to scatter at the full range (fullfilling the promise of the original scroll. ) :-)

@Fetisha We had a massive response to the compensation offer. Receipt time is going to trend towards the longer end of our estimated timeframe (over a week) but I assure you that you'll get your clanbound scatterscrolls, safe and sound. :-) We'll announce in the topic when we've completed sending them out. Thank you for your patience!

To clarify, no scrolls have yet been sent out. The clanbound scrolls will be leaning towards the longer side of our estimate. Please keep sending in your tickets. We'll be using this time to organize everyone's messages so we don't double up or miss anyone. We will be getting you your scrolls as soon as possible, and then the scatterfest can begin!

Posting again to clarify what's going on:

The mistakes message is a new message, but it's actually a good thing. It prevents the bonding process from half-completing. (IE: You bond with your familiar and that goes through, but you never receive the treasure. Or you receive the treasure but it never registers that you used your daily bond and you can collect multiple times.). The error message is a catch: If both parts of the process did not go through, it reverts so you can try again.

That being said, it's not ideal that it's appearing so much for so many folks, and it's something we're looking into.

Another possibility is if you hit the button twice it also exalts once and then thinks you're trying to exalt again (which is why you get the error) Since the first exalt went through your treasure count did go up, you just never got the confirmation screen to see it do so. :-)

In answer to a couple of inquriies: Lightsky is still working for us. We do appreciate folks who come forward with tips on loopholes or exploits so that we can patch them up. We do intend to open registration again in the future, and we do intend to fix the "mistakes have been made" issue. (The issue isn't the error you get: It's that you get it in the first place. THat message is a "catch" for when part of the familiar bonding process goes through but not the other part. It reverts the action. This prevents folks from bonding with their familiar but not receiving treasure, or receiving treasure but not having their daily bond count.)

The reason why is that it allows us much more options for chest, waist, and other body apparel. :-) But no, if you think on it, doesn't make much sense, but the additional options in apparel creation seemed like a fair trade-off.

@Lightning I drew those. The lovely drops for harpy's roost in this update are Fable's work. There should be some apparel by her in a future update.

Please note that this is only applicable to scrolls used within the affected timeframe.. just in case there was any sort of confusion. (The line about didn't quite get what i wanted mad eme want to clarify!) Scatterscrolls do not offer any sort of guarantee on results, but we did want to make sure that folks had the chance at the full color range. So if you used a scroll during the time when the full range was not in the possible outcomes, we want to offer folks that opportunity to have their item do what it said it would. :-)

A rough estimate is not specifically needed, but certainly couldn't hurt and would be helpful.

Scatterscrolls suffered from an issue where they would only scatter a random range from colors 1-47(white through sunshine) rather than 1-67(white through rose). They have been fixed are now functioning correctly with a random range within the 67 color set.

The affected timeframe was from August 15th until September 22nd 0:00. (Note: Scrolls used after this timeframe were fixed and should have had the chance to scatter with the site's full color range.) If you have used a scatter scroll during the affected time period and are unsatisfied with having used a scroll with the limited range, please do the following to receive account-bound replacement scatterscrolls with the full range available:

Send us an e-mail:

• The "From" field should contain the e-mail address you used to register and that we may use to contact you. It must match the e-mail we have on-file for your account.
• The "Subject" field should be titled "Scatterscroll Range Bug"
• Inside the message, please include the following:
  • Your account Name and ID# (The number can be found by visiting your lair and copying the number in the url)
  • How did you obtain your scatter scroll? Marketplace, AH, or Trade? We will be checking this, but giving us a starting point will be helpful!

Due to the volume of players affected, it may take us several days to over a week for compensation to be issued, but we will be working on this until everyone has been taken care of. Please note that we are only issuing account-bound scrolls to those who used scatterscrolls during the affected time. If you purchased a scroll and resold it or traded it away, the person who used it was the one affected and the one who should contact us.

Edit: Because there's been a bit of confusion on the matter, I thought I would take this moment to clarify that you do not NEED to contact us if you are satisfied. We're not requesting that anyone rescatter their dragons or forcing anyone to mail us. If you are disatisfied with having scattered when only 47 colors were possible, THEN you contact us and we begin working with you. If you're happy, it's perfectly fine not to e-mail us!

Sorry it's taking so long. It really is on my to-do list, but the mirror M tiger file has been lost so to fix it I need to redraw the stripes and I've been a bit busy with a few other projects. I will be addressing this in the future. :-)
