We have the Tri-color scroll, but having one for each gene would be cool as well. I am an avid gem buyer, so I would very much love to buy one of these. :P

No support UNLESS it's also random whether it affects primary, secondary or tertiary.

I really don't understand why people don't support this.
I support a single-gene scatter because this is a game about customizing dragons. Like, we should be able to randomize each gene color. Yes, even the tert. If it's a Gem item, it gives the site money, and the color wheel is so damn big that the RNG isn't likely to grace you easily.
So yeah, support.

I support it at a very, very dissuasive price, and for primary and secondary only, because a terrible tert can be dealt with.
I have a mantis secondary on my random progen that I want to get rid of, but I like the primary and tertiary.

no support. flightrising is a breeding game- if you want dragons with certain colors, you have to breed for them, they aren't just going to be handed to you when you buy a certain item. have a dragon with two good colors and one bad? find a way to make the bad color work (new genes are coming out all the time so it shouldn't be too hard to find something that works), or try your luck with a scatterscroll or two.

i could support this though, but only if the chances of randomizing each different section is perfectly equal (Primary-33%, secondary- 33%, tertiary-33%)

I don't support, because that kind of takes somethign away from the breeding aspect of the game.
It's about BREEDING the dragon you want.
Not scattering a single color until its perfect.

This is a rather divided topic within the suggestion forum. I personally do no think it is something that should be added as it removes a lot of the challenge from the game and it would be too easy to get a desirable result. Instead of breeding for it players could just scatter that one color and not worry about messing up the other colors. The tri-scatter scroll is a gamble, it may make things better or worse. A single-color scatter scroll is unlikely to make things worse but more likely to make things better.
For example my custom progen before I scattered her was Sky/Stonewash/Emerald. I thought the randomly generated emerald looked horrible with her colors. With a single color scatter scroll I could scatter that emerald, yes it may not improve things but it isn't going to harm it, as I really didn't like it. Sure it might take a few scrolls to get something I like, but it would still be a lot less risky than the tri-scatter scroll where you can scatter dozens of times to get something that you like. With the color expansion it may make it harder to get a particular color, but the general percentages of getting any color that could improve things have stayed about the same.
Also such a scroll could have a negative impact on the dragon economy (especially the first gen market). Currently color is king and it is about the only thing other than new genes/breeds that sell. Instead of breeding for three nice colors, if you were able to scatter the one clashy color and get a good result, you can start popping out hatchlings with those nice colors much quicker resulting in a drop in price of good color dragons due to oversaturation.
If something like this was added into the game, it should probably be at least three times more expensive than the tri-color scatter scroll as it is a lot less risky than a single-color scatter scroll.

I'd find this really discouraging - the "you don't have to use it if you don't want to" argument doesn't really work in multiplayer games where everyone's decisions affect others as well.
I can understand why so many players would want something like this but I feel like it would take the point away from a lot of aspects people enjoy (breeding, g1 hunting, etc). Depending on the reasoning for it, there's almost always a solution that's already in the game

I agree with the others who don't support this. While it would be great sometimes, it would take out a huge part of the whole "breeding project" thing. Even with a huge color wheel, it would still be easy enough to just try a few times to get a decent color. It would be almost like cheating in that, well, maybe people would enjoy it, but it would take a lot of fun out of the game.
I would not, however, object to a tertiary scatter scroll for progens only. Especially your custom progen. You get things all the time where people make a beautiful custom progen, only for the tertiary to end up as spring or coral or some other color that looks extremely horrid. But it would be something you got only once, and was tied to your account and your progen's ID, so it couldn't be transferred or used on another dragon. Except that's probably too complicated and convoluted. But it would be nice if I could get my poor Petal (my custom progen) a new tertiary. Just her, and I could be happy. And custom progen colors are already partially picked, so it wouldn't be completely unfair to let you at least attempt a better tertiary for your custom progen. But that's just my thoughts on the matter.
