Striders must have the following coloration: Slate/Silver/Swamp. Their genes should be appropriate for camouflage. The striders population, once nearly hunted to extinction, is slowly recovering. Even now, members of this species are hunted down by creatures of shadow--this is especially so for dragons who are born outside of the Viridian Labyrinth. Like the shadows that hunt them, a Strider passing by can go completely unnoticed. Fleet of foot, they are almost completely silent on both land and in the air and as a master of camouflage they are are well suited for hunting and tracking. As the numbers of the Striders within the Viridian Labyrinth are recovering some of the more adventurous strides have started to venture out of the relative safety of their jungle home and venture to other flights. Genes should be appropriate for camouflage. When new genes are added, any genes that fit the camouflage style will be acceptable. Genes with an asterisk (*) are limited to one gene on an individual (so only Poison OR Skink OR Toxin OR Spinner OR Trail, etc).

Dragons who's colors are close to Slate/Silver/Swamp are considered Near-Striders

Dragons who have the Slate/Silver/Swamp coloration but not approved genes or two of the one only genes are considered Non-Standard Striders.
