TOPIC | Lost Hatchlings in Starwood Strand-FULL
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ... 13 14
The world can be a dangerous place for any dragon, what with the ever present tension and conflict between the the great Flights. It is more dangerous still for the young and unprepared. While most hatchlings are well loved and guarded by their parents and their clan, it is not unheard of for the young ones to go missing - and never be seen again. Whether curiosity leads a bold little drake out of his home lair into the world beyond or something from outside spirits him away, there is no disputing the terrible risk to the lives of hatchlings too young to leave the nest...

Hello there, I'm Xen! ^.^ I've seen plenty of threads where the adult dragons play, but what if we let the babies play for a change?

All general rules of roleplay apply and what not, be nice to your fellow roleplayers, etc. All hatchlings are welcome, even if they've grown up or will grow up in the course of this roleplay. ;)

Every dragon has a story, has a personality, has a life.
((@XenSilverQuill: There was another similar RP that seems to have pretty much died. Count me in. I'll post my characters later.)) Okay, my two main hatchling characters, Nightseer and Memoira And their frantically searching guardian Azrael

((Ooh, I'd like to join! I like hatchling RP :D)) Moontide, who likes to wander far from home. She is too young to fly just yet. ((Considering her a hatchling for this RP, of course.))

I'd like to join if I can. RoseWing here can be quite the little adventure. It'd be fun to get a chance to rp her while she's still a hatchling.

((Awesome. :) I think we have enough people to start. Should I start, or would someone else like to do the honors?))

Night settled on the quiet shores of the Starfall Isles. A mile or so from the lapping waves and sand, the forest, so stark and lonely by day, bloomed in the dark. Azure leaves and lavender flowers lent an otherworldly yet beautiful glow to the trees and the forest floor beneath them. There was a certain kind of solace in the light if one knew how to look for it. "Many dragons find their genius in this place..." ... Or so Okoto had told the little Guardian hatchling. Ambrose snorted at the memory of the Fae's words, angrily swiping at the wetness in his eyes. Okoto's got a star-addled brain and commen sense to match. I hope he chokes on his insects at breakfast, along with the rest of them! His belly rumbled painfully at the thought of a warm meal in the clan den. "Shut up," he growled to his stomach, which of course did not listen and went right on rumbling anyway. Curling his tail around himself and pulling in his wings tightly, the Guardian huddled in a thicket of glowing blossoms. Snap! Ambrose's heart galloped in his chest as he whipped his head to and fro, looking for the source of the noise. Unlike the Arcane dragons born in this territory (he had originally come from Wind Plateau, or so Morro told him), he found no comfort or safety in the Starwood Strand. Snap! "Wh-who's there?" the hatchling chirped. "Sh-show y-yourself!"
