Conner let his hand drop down, understanding the Lilian didn't want to duel in the office. He headed towards the door, assuming that they were exiting that way, before pausing and turning around after Lilian opened a hidden door.
Trailing behind the two vampires, he closed the hidden door behind him. He walked down the staircase, raising an eyebrow when he saw the cave system. How large was this clan? Needing this many rooms...
Ignoring the way that the vampires were glancing him, probably examining him, he entered the ring after the women.
He stood across from Lilian, and unsheathed his sword. "Ready when you are."

Lilian smiled and waited outside of the ring "it wont be me boy, I don't play fair" she laughed a bit, it was her nature to be blunt with he truth when it suited her. Lilian look over and motioned for Rosalia.
Rose sighed softly, disliking this greatly. She was definitely not the most dangerous but compared to others that would kill him in a second, it was a better choice. Rose stepped into the ring and walked to the center. It wasnt very intimidating to be a smallish girl in a dress fighting but it would do.
She shifted into a middle ground position, not quite defensive but not offense as well, and she held no weapon in her hand. "Aim is not to harm, merely see your ability." She looked at him, her once vivid green eyes slowly shifting to blood red like her mother's. "Come at me!" Rose held her stance, he had gotten a look at what her power could be when she sealed the door.
She could pop up a vine wall to protect her from an attack easily but could also do something else since she was forced into this. If he attacked from the front she planned to force vine around her arms to take the blow head on, it wouldn't hurt her at all, thankfully.
(Combat can be a bit funky)

Conner shrugged, unperturbed. He wasn't sure if he seemed like someone who would fight fair, but he, and most hunters, didn't. What was the point? He didn't fight to uphold anyone's honor, so why would he care about using underhanded tactics in a life or death fight?
Wondering who was going to test him, Conner noticed Lilian signaling Rose. He would prefer not fighting her, but he could see where Lilian was coming from. She was Lilian's daughter after all, so Rose was bound to have strong magic. She seemed to have an ability related to plants since she had covered the door with vines back in Lilian's office.
Watching her settle into a balanced position, Conner examined her closely, trying to see how skilled and experienced she was. Rose certainly seemed to have solid basics, but he still wanted to warn her to be careful. When his sword shocked someone, it could easily catch them off-guard and hurt them. Thankfully, they weren't trying to beat each other.
"Got it," he affirmed. He didn't say anything when Rose's eyes turned a bloody red, waiting for her to tell him that she was ready.
Taking the initiative to close the distance between them when she was, Conner took up an offensive position and gave a slight pause to see what Rose would do.
Now!
Suddenly, Conner feinted at Rose. He was holding back, though not by a lot, since the purpose of the attack was to try and bait a response and to figure out Rose's reaction speed. He doubted that it would make Rose reveal a flaw in her defense since Lilian clearly trusted her ability.
His reaction time was faster than most, a little bonus from his sword.

(Yeah, longer ones will be a issue but we'll do what we can :D Also as a side note, all vampires have some level of super speed and strength. so she didn't just teleport. Feel free to stop an action if you feel he can of course. even if I've typed the follow through. )

She lashed out with a vine against him, making sure that this set of vines wasn't covered in her usual thorns. It wasn't full power either, just enough for it to sting a little if it hit him.

Rose grinned when she was able to land a hit on him and the surprise from it on his face. She tried to keep the distance between them and noted his force to close the distance. Rose made a quick decision and dropped to her knees, putting her hands onto the ground. She wasn't the greatest at close combat.
As she pushed her hands against the ground she tried to pop up a half circle of thick, thorny vines in front of her to stop him in his tracks before getting to close to her. Rose wasn't sure if it was fast enough with him coming at her.

He watched as a barrier made of vines grew at a shocking pace. Well, he supposed, Rose could do that. Finding out that the force behind his sword wasn't enough to cut through the vines, he suddenly wished he was using a longsword. It'd be easier to cut down these plants that way.
Luckily, Rose hadn't grown a full-blown fortress, yet. He darted around the shield of thorns she had grown, checking to see if she was still behind them.

She may not have been a close combat specialist for the clan but she wasn't too bad at it. Rose sneaked behind him and lunged forward to tackle him to the ground, planning to use vines to capture him in that state. What she lacked in complete raw power, she made up for with strategy.

She took it as an opportunity and fell, purposely onto her back, as if she was actually quite hurt by that little bit of electricity. He couldn't be sure how well it would hit her compared to others. Rose had trained to be able to take a lot of pain like that.
