@Waywardhunter05 @felinefracas @jbapple

After extensive math and calculations, I say we use Protect as many will be on the offense, so we can maintain our lead, and so we can deflect 2 abilities that would deduct points from our total. After doing so, it is only then we can use the Banescale’s ability to overtake the other teams. And so Galaxia can have a chance to shine.

If you all agree, no need to vote, as I already did.

HEAT A - ROUND 3 RESULTS

The zalis flies as swiftly as it can, dodging vines and hanging snakes as it makes its way through the bayou, scroll clutched tightly in its claws. When it spots the recipient dragon waiting, it swoops down and drops the copy of the day's race results into the dragon's waiting claws...

Team 1's Guardian, Lumina, uses her Protection scroll to envelop the boat in a layer of shimmering teal magic that slightly blocks out the sounds of the bayou.

Team 5's Guardian, Galaxia, also uses her Protection scroll. Hannah yelps as the bubble passes over her—she was leaning over the side of the boat, distracted by a colorful fish, and pulls herself into the protective layer.

Team 6's Ridgeback, Wilhelm, opens his Long Nose scroll again to unleash his spell, which surges out like a dart and whizzes over the heads of all the dragons in the teams ahead. Teams 5 and 1 are protected, though their bubbles lose some of their thickness.
Team 2 loses 4 points. Team 6 gains 4 points.
Team 4 loses 4 points. Team 6 gains 4 points.

Team 2's Wildclaw, Larch, uses Long Strike. The magic from the scroll coalesces around his claw, and he reaches out, a projection of his formidable claws zooming ahead to slow down the other teams. Teams 5 and 1 are protected, but Team 4 loses 5 points.

Team 4 can't quite decide which scroll to use, so the dragons decide to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. Atlantis, the Coatl, is victorious, and uses his Serpent's Secret scroll to boost the team with a light breeze that gains them 3 points.

Team 3's Banescale, Marr, opens her Song of Support scroll. Music starts emanating from it, and she recognizes it as a harmony which she is supposed to improvise on. "Goes with the jazzy theme of this whole festival, eh?" she says, before adding her own voice to the mix. Team 3 gains 4 points.

@Waywardhunter05 @jbapple @felinefracas

We maintained our lead! Still in 2nd place!

As said in my last post, we must now use the Banescale’s ability to push us into 1st place. There is a risk of losing some points, but if we get good dice rolls, and if we use Protect in the round after that, we’re pretty much safe.

If you agree with me, there is no need to vote, as I already did. Nice work everyone!

I think Enlightened Soul might be the better choice this time? 17 to 25 is a pretty good shot imo, especially with the place we’re in haha. Don’t know whether my ability in math went bad or if it’s bad luck week right now lmao

HEAT C - ROUND 3 RESULTS
Team 5's Ridgeback, Lithinial, uses his Long Nose scroll. A dart of magic flashes out and zooms forward to skim the tops of the other teams' heads, causing little electric shocks of magical energy to pass through them. The dart returns with this energy and uses it to propel the boat forward. Team 4 and 1 are protected, though Team 4's bubble disappears and Team 1's fades somewhat.
Team 3 loses 2 points. Team 5 gains 2 points.
Team 2 loses 2 points. Team 5 gains 2 points.
Team 3 loses 3 points. Team 5 gains 3 points.

@dragonpals @CourierSix @Dragoneko Sorry I wasn't too present yesterday! I am here today, though, armed with a lot of procrastinating to do.

Enlightened Soul - The team's current Round Total is bumped up to the next square number (even if it is already a square number). This would bring us to 25 this round. That's a lot of progress!

Knotted Up - The team in first place in the race standings loses 12 points unless that is this dragon's team, in which case the second place team loses 6 points. If this ability occurs in the first round, the only effect is that the team gains 3 points. This would bring the first place team down to 49, and possibly bump us in the top 3 depending on how the others do! Personally, though, I'd keep it for a later time.

Serpent Secret - Double the rolls equal to or less than the position of this team in the race standings, eg: if it is in 3rd place, double rolls of 1, 2, and 3. If it is the first round, use the round standings. We are fifth, so we could double everyone but the PC. It would put us up to 22.

Slow and Steady - If this team is in the last half of teams in the race standings, it gains as many points as is needed to pass the #3 team in the race standings by 1. If this ability occurs in the first round, the only effect is that the team gains 3 points. For some reason, the Snapper ability confuses me to heck, please help?

Right now, not counting Slow and Steady, which I can't calculate for the life of me, PC seems like the best option!
