Prophet's third day didn't go as well as day 2. Maybe he'll have a little more luck tomorrow(unlikely as I have a lot of homework to do).
Prophet is now a level 8 in the coli.

[center][color=green][b][size=5]Day 1[/size][/b][/color][/center]
With the morning post comes news of dragons taking a Vow of Poverty. They eschew all monetary wealth and use only what they earn with their own claws or receive as gifts. Dreamer's eyes glitter with excitement. That sounds like a wonderful adventure!
LittlePrincess does not agree, but as always his protests do not deter her. She drags him off into the wilderness with no supplies and no real plan.
Before leaving, Dreamer snags the [item=Ambush] battle stone the clan received from Pinkerton today. Scenarios of dropping down upon their enemies unnoticed and heroically winning the battle run through her head. She can't wait to get strong enough to use it.
LittlePrincess gets clawed down within seconds and Dreamer is forced to flee their first battle. She clutches his unconscious body. She doesn't feel very heroic.
Dreamer braves the Training Fields again. A reluctant LittlePrincess follows. They scrape by, scratching and contusing until the first pack falls. Even LittlePrincess feels accomplished, though he doesn't smile.
They slog on. It gets a bit easier as they slowly level up, getting stronger, faster, and tougher, enough that they try the Woodland Path. It's a mistake. More time on the Training Fields gets them to level 5, and they finally stand a chance against the tougher enemies of the Woodland Path.
LittlePrincess finds an [item=acuity fragment] and immediately equips it. Every little bit of help he can scrounge up he will take.
It's slow going as they crawl up to [b]level 7[/b]. The Scorched Forest proves too much and they retreat to the Training Fields. The enemies feel a lot weaker now and the pair sets about searching for anything useful.
They find some stuff to send back home, but nothing more for themselves.
Dinner is cold and raw. LittlePrincess isn't talking. Dreamer curls up to sleep with a heavy heart. Adventures are hard.
Loot sent home:
[item=Shimmering Pinecone] X32 [item=Trickmurk Carousel Chest]
[item=Leafy Pack] X2
Miscellaneous duplicate familiars and a couple battle stones they can't use.

Yeah, grinding from scratch with no battle stones sucks.

TRUTH. I'm doing a Nuzlocke which means any derg who faints gets exalted, and yeah. Taking an unstoned level 1 into the Training Fields is TERRIFYING.
[i]Trev sighed and idly sorted through the pile of loot he'd gathered from his travels and hunting endeavors. None of it looked to be of any particular use, given that he'd promised to take only what he needed. He carefully set side the Unhatched Earth Egg he'd found - someone would certainly enjoy taking care of that, he was certain of it - but pushed all the rest of it into the communal area of the lair for the other dragons to sort through and pick their favorites.
Maybe tomorrow might hold better luck, he thought, and curled himself up in his new robe for a good night's sleep.[/i]

Today was a big day for Boreal since I was able to go into the Coliseum! I brought her along while grinding and got her to level 17. She currently has 3 might fragments I got in earlier grinding sessions and a Sap battlestone. Zolin will be an adult tomorrow and will be able to wear some of the apparel I got.
Apparel:[item=dented iron gauntlets][item=nebula starsilk earrings][item=copper steampunk spats][item=veteran's shoulder scars][item=swallow's tail guard][item=tropical birdskull wingpiece]
Venue: Ghostlight Ruins
Other Goodies: [item=Beyond The Veil Chest][item=Beyond The Veil Chest][Item=Trickmurk Carousel Chest][Item=Trickmurk Carousel Chest][item=Wraith hound][item=Pronghorn Hunter][item=Tatterwing Carcass][item=Shatterbone vulture][item=Somber Spirit][item=Nightmare][item=lux spectre][item=Longneck Scholar][item=longneck medium][item=scratch][item=shining might fragment][item=sap][item=vial of hypnotic sight]
There are a few other familiars and battle stones that don't apply to Boreal.
So, we've got 6/8 apparel*, 6/10 battlestones*, 17/25 levels, 2/4 genes and a skin that's out for Goalers that Boreal looks good in. Nice!

[i]"Wow, Boreal you're a natural at this!" Selene exclaimed. Boreal grinned and looked at the scratches on her side.
"Yeah I've definitely improved a lot today." Boreal replied. She couldn't hold back the smile on her face. The only thing she couldn't quite get the hang of was The Wanderers' finishing blow, eliminate. Python and Selene had taken her with on a expedition to the Ghostlight Ruins, a section of the Sunbeam Ruins shrouded in darkness. She could only watch for the first couple hours but soon enough, she was joining in the battle, lending a helpful scratch or a finishing blow. She grew to understand the tactics The Wanderers used and could see herself among them. They returned back home with many new goodies, a bag full of pinecones, and a smiling Boreal. [/i]

Daily update!
Today was Sal's first day in the coli, and he leveled to [b]11.[/b] We're mostly training in the Crystal Pools since they drop Tinctures, which we definitely want.
His familiar gifted him with a treasure chest which yeieled a: [img]https://flightrising.com/images/cms/equipment/442.png[/img]. Its very pretty and Sal decided to wear it.
We also equipped some of the battlestones he got through giveaway. Oddly enough, Imperials get the Scratch stone naturally (I always thought they were a magic dragon) so now Sal needs to get rid of an extra:

Other than that, he found a couple of items he won't be using such as:

Not the most successful day, but we made some progress with leveling and got our first piece of apparel. Hopefully the next day yield some genes!
