Here are some red berries! They're on a decorative tree lining a little grassy area a few minutes from my place. I noticed them as I passed by because of their pretty red color!

Also I took a picture for a previous day (minerals) but stuff came up so I forgot to post it. Here are some decorative rocks my building put in recently. The plant beds go around the whole front of the building, but these are the only rocks in the whole thing. Weird.

And just for a participation for pond life so I don't skip a badge...a great blue heron! Back in high school there was a little courtyard that I saw a great blue heron in once. It was awesome. It's rare to be able to see them so close, but since it was through a window, it was there minding its own business without noticing me watching it from the other side.

This is really good timing since we just bought 2 new fruit trees today & tidied up the balcony & I made this pic some hours ago:

Unfortunately there's nothing really bearing fruit yet, aside from some tiny strawberries (in the pink pot that hangs from the railing).
In the front on the right is a small fig tree that grows really fast! We have it since a few weeks and it was tiny.
On the left is my precious calmondine, which I have since last year!
Then next to the right chair is the nectarine tree we bought today (for really cheap!) & the tallest one way back, also bought today, is a sweet cherry tree :)
In the small pots on the back are some veggies too, there's a tomato, carrots & I think my gf planted onions...?
We also planted potatoes today, but they're in the kitchen along some herbs.
We're both really happy with the balcony now <3

I can't grow much of anything in my yard because the soil is so bad. Weeds thrive and only the hardiest of flowers. But I do grow what I can in pots! This year I have
spearmint, chocolate mint, chives, basil and oregano.
