This place is perfect!” Mynethia exclaimed and flapped her wings appreciatively as the Aether landed at the edge of the cliff that overlooked the ocean. The air was crisp, shooing the dregs of winter and beckoning the first light of spring. Mynethia wasted no time instructing two other Aethers behind her, handing out various notes and gesturing expressively, dedicating a pair of limbs each to each assistant. Sparky was dressed in electric pink garb, while Aria wore a more muted shawl. Both were adorned with various trinkets, the current fashion, Mynethia supposed. She missed the era of wearing useful contraptions. "The grand nourishment surface should be placed just here — yes, yes in front of the crash site, I want that extended optical lens augmenter to be visible when you look out to the sea — and the publication platform needs to be close to the environmental delineating threshold so arrivals can choose a free sample to snack on while they peruse the other stalls..." Mynethia listed a few more items to her assistants and sent them on their way. She turned her head slightly to look behind, nibbling on a copy of [i]Architectural Delights: Enhancing Mouthfeel[/i], delighting in the floral aroma. The festival was going to be delicious. [b][i]Present Day[/i][/b] The festivities were in full swing when Mynethia finally emerged from the preparation tent. Fur bristling with excitement, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, making up her mind to follow her nose for the day. The fresh smell of parchment depicted hints of chocolate, crystal shards, and aged vanilla in the distance. When Mynethia opened her eyes again, she picked up the booth banner named ‘Origami Fine Dining’. The Aether made her way to the booth, passing several others, making a mental note to come back to the assorted book tasting booth. The scent was a mix of old and new, spicy and warm. On the opposite side of the booths, the showcase had just begun. Mynethia paused to take in the sight of bright colours that the dragons had put on themselves. She wiggled her tail appreciatively as one of the participants stepped up to the platform wearing an antique rotating revolving recording device on their left side. Those were few and far between these days. Suddenly noticing a whiff of smoke, she scanned the surroundings, locating puffs of purple smoke over the bonfire by the grand nourishment surface, and a small swarm of young Aethers gathering to roast their various books by the fire. Mynethia smiled to herself. Today was going to be a day to remember.
