Wow Valkinto wears the mistral mantle well! I've always loved its palette but struggled to find a dragon it looked good on, but he's fantastic - his coral underbelly and skin bring out its peachy tones really nicely, while its green gives great contrast. Also love the face mask on him, cool effect with the base of it matching his primary and the lines matching his frills. Alieth's my Windiest fellow - an extremely powerful mage, capable of whipping up and sustaining miles-wide storms with little effort. He could do it in his sleep! And he often does. I'm REALLY SORRY if it takes me an abnormal amount of time to respond or if my spelling is bad. I'm dyslexic and need just a bit(a lot :') more time to spell check my work and read your responses. Thank you for your patience! :3

Which is also nice, and I could have kept her a Fae, but seriously. Look at her. Ridgebacks just look so awesome. I got her as a baby from @Feuepine (I hope you don’t mind the ping!), who was very kind to breed Magina’s parents for me because Magina’s mother is Cek’s aunt. Which makes Magina his cousin. Have I mentioned I love dragon families? I do. The story I came up with was that Magina was kidnapped and her mother heard that her nephew Cek was now working with a band of mercenary monster hunters. She wrote him a letter to get his help. One thing led to another, and we found Magina. She was captured by a bunch of bad dragons and experimented on (I have no idea why I decided to base her story on one of the characters in Dota 2), and so she got the ability to destroy magic reserves - though she would never use magic again. Maybe I’d just watched Stranger Things. That also seems possible. Anyway, also as consequence, little Magina decided she also didn’t want to be a Fae anymore. Not only are Faes tiny, but they are also good with Magic. Magina didn’t want to be small and helpless without the ability to use magic anymore. I love this family so much. Next month, we’ll meet her mate Chenek. Their story is… something. I mean, I wasn’t thinking about it at the time, but I decided every nest ever laid is canon and I don’t change my mind often. Nowadays, Magina is one heck of a fighter. She’s learned to make do with what she has. And she has a lot. The ability to completely wreck a dragon’s magic reserves makes her a bit of a one-stop shop as far as killing a single dragon goes. But due to her decision to be as big and imposing as possible, being a sneaky assassin is right out. So she’s a bit in a position where she still depends on her team to get her in and out of trying situations. But at the end of the day, they depend on her to do her job well. And she does. She very often does. Show me a Carry! For those non-League (or other MOBA) players, the carry is the guy that does the damage. Needs to be supported, because usually is pretty fragile. But if this dragon does it right, they drag the rest of their team to the finish line. I think Sekhirat qualifies as a carry - he can deal some devastating damage with his blood-based magic (people don't tend to walk away from it when he casts a spell that explodes their blood). However, since he's constantly draining his own blood to do it he's pretty fragile - not to mention when an enemy doesn't have blood, rendering him useless. So I did. I also really wanted her to wear a bustle. So I did that, too. Thanks to the outfit assist from @chatoyant, though (I hope you don’t mind the ping!), I think she looks amazing. I worked on trying to get her to look nice for ages. The idea of communication differences between dragons is usually fascinating to me, but I didn’t have many dragons that showcased this. And, also, there’s only so long you can have one dragon immersed in what is a foreign language without learning it. Then it occurred to me that a deaf Fae living among Faes wouldn’t be as impaired, socially, as, say, a Coatl would be due to the differences in language. A Fae would get a lot more from a conversation without being able to hear because of the extensive use of body language. So, Reagan was born. She’s deaf, but when she lived among Faes this wasn’t a huge problem for her. It was, obviously, a problem, but she was still surprisingly adept at communicating and understanding just because she knows the language. It’s only when she moves out into wider dragon society that it becomes a much bigger challenge for her. I haven’t worked out how she deals with this, or others, but the idea still appeals to me. So, when I work on everyone’s stories and what not (maybe next year?) I’ll come back to this. It’s certainly something to consider, anyway… Show off one a dragon that Communicates atypically! Maybe they’re deaf and so have to use sign or other body language. Maybe they don’t have a body and have to communicate via spiritually-slamming doors or flickering candles. Or maybe they rigged up some strange Lightning device to speak for them if they’re mute. She relies on basic fae frill flutters and blinking to get her point across, on the rare occasion she has need to communicate. Verbalizing would be far too loud. Generally she just does a lot of peering, staring, and hiding. There are rumors that messages can be read in the manner in which the leaves fall, but they remain unconfirmed.
