His healing magic got so powerful that he (accidentally, ofc) started raising the dead. I guess the god figured that if he liked living so much, he should try being immortal. Now, he kinda just wanders around, searching for a purpose again. Maybe one day he'll get a happy ending, but for now, it's all depression :] A more in-depth version of his story is in his bio if you're interested !

[center]When it comes to wanderers, I'd like to show you Sunclaw again, and this time expand on what he does now that he's been banished. They're constantly moving around, but have yet to leave the Ice Flight, though they came relatively close within the first couple months of their banishment, making it all the way to the upper section of The Frigid Floes before they all lost the courage to leave, all still missing those left behind in the same clan they were banished from. The reason they're moving is entirely paranoia, worrying that they may be hunted down by their old clan-though there's one dragon in the Ice Storm clan that knows where they are at all times, but Sunclaw's group isn't aware she's from the clan and she's not aware they're the mysterious banished group no one likes to talk about.

This is one of my favorite guys. (Also, hi, hope you don’t mind the ping - but thank you for this man once again, he’s still top five best dragons on FR.) It’s still his backstory, it’s just not in his bio anymore. His bio has kind of gotten a bit crazy. Then not crazy followed by crazy again. I’ve rewritten it a hundred times, probably. It’s just that he’s been with me so long, his story keeps expanding. He keeps doing stuff and participating in all these plots in my head. As such, he’s the dragon who has both changed the most and the least in my lair. The backstory he came with is the backstory he has. The way he is now is pretty much the way he’s always been. I’ve added stuff to him as it was released, like the wingplates… I also at one point was going to get all my dragons UMAs and he was the first. I’m not doing that anymore, but he got grandfathered, I guess… Anyway, so in more than one way, this guy is the king. He was part of a lineage challenge, and one of the rejects because his brother tricked him into losing his birthright. But he’s made the best of it. He doesn’t live like a king; he barely acts like one. But he’s still quite regal in my opinion. Even if he’s not really in charge of anything, didn’t spawn any amazing legacies (that I know of), he’s still a king. Show off one a [b]King[/b]! What makes them a king? Do they rule something? Taking inspiration from Wings of Fire, my clan is matriarchal, so Sunset is less of an actual king and more of a figurehead, though Ima does still love and respect his opinion, and will go to him if she has a problem. Growing up around non-Fae, Sunset is WAY more expressive than most Fae, though he does still have a semi-monotone voice. He mostly expresses with his talons and frills! His wife can always tell what tone he means to convey though, which I think is cute.

Satelokh is quite new to my lair and so doesn't have too much lore yet, but being kingly is one of the few bits I've settled on! He rules over a strange, cursed sea, and believes himself to be the only one who can understand and control it (though in reality he's better at convincing himself whatever weird thing it does it what he wanted). I saw someone selling G1s and honestly I have no idea how I ended up with him? I remember he was 20kt or 30kt, though. It felt like a small fortune because I was still on the train that G1s are terrible because you have to gene them. I mean… well, I’m still on that train a little bit. But I gene a lot of my dragons whether they’re G1s or not, so I have no idea what I’m talking about. Now, warning: knowledge of Stargate: Atlantis is probably necessary to get full enjoyment out of the following. If you don’t know about Atlantis, then just look at Radek again. I feel like that counts for about the same amount of enjoyment. He’s so pretty. Okay. So. Radek’s a fandragon of a particularly dear character to me from Stargate: Atlantis. (Today is the actor’s birthday. So join me in wishing David Nykl a happy birthday!) I have three fandragons for Stargate… and this guy is my favorite. Don’t tell the others. Except the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/18654627]Rodney fandragon (named Mere)[/url]. You can tell him. He’d have an aneurysm. Anyway, so all that aside, Radek, Tundra, of Sornieth, takes after his inspiration in both appearance (sort of - I just thought his colors looked like the khaki Atlantis jacket) and character. He works with an insufferable boss diving into ancient ruins looking for old technology from the Second Age. Electricity? One of his favorite things. You can tell the world isn’t fair because he wasn’t hatched Lightning. Eventually, I got another Atlantis fandragon (who once looked modestly more related to his inspiration, but was sacrificed to [i]Aesthetic[/i]). A Guardian named Lorne. My headcanon (and not an unpopular one) is that, on Atlantis, Radek is to Lorne as Rodney is to Shephard. So these two were inextricably linked in my head and thus: Radek became Lorne’s Charge. And a precious one he is, too. Though, of course, Lorne has managed to keep it a secret for a very long time the reason he puts up with Mere’s shenanigans is because his Charge works for him, too. Which just adds more fun dynamics to the shenanigans. Shenanigans are my favorite. Show me a [b]Guardian’s Charge[/b]! Maybe it’s a dragon, or maybe it’s something on the Guardian (like a sword or necklace)! Maybe it’s something on [i]another[/i] dragon that the Guardian can’t get the jerk to hand over. His Charge is the clan itself, and the monsters within it. Like a traditional dragon, Sojo 'hordes' something-but not gold, no, he hordes eldritch monsters, exploring the world for sometimes months at a time (making sure that nothing hurts the clan, usually via posting the Obbies in the clan or posting Curiosity, his Gloomwillow Guide, as a sentry) to come back with new horrors to house in the clan. Secretly, Sojo is actually a galaxy condensed in to a singular being, given life as a dragon by some higher power after wondering what it'd be like to live with mortals. He's taking it semi well and has no idea how to be a Guardian.

He's a weapon smith who specializes in the restoration and resale of rare and/or antique weapons, which he finds by rummaging through ancient battlegrounds. Brith takes great pride in being his steed and the brawn to get them both out of tricky situations.

He was so much a favorite that I got him those coveted [gamedb item=1792]. Not that all my dragons wearing retired items are a most-favorite. But this one definitely is. Yesterday we met Lorne’s Charge, Radek, and I said he once reminded me more of his namesake on the television show Stargate: Atlantis. Before I gave him Lionfish, which is possibly the best thing I ever did. Though I do have to say, something about the m Guardian face with Lionfish in specific always kind of bothers me. But that doesn’t matter. He’s worn this very same helmet since he could wear things. Lorne’s story is kind of… simple. He doesn’t actually have very much of one, besides the shenanigans that he gets up to with his family and in protection of the scientist-Tundras that keep him on retainer. He’s a side character to the main scheme of things. But I imagine his personal life is a bit interesting. His first mate was a prison warden, but after she died he eventually ended up with a queen. That’s a story. But overall, I think his time is taken up just hanging out with his Charge. After all, they’re friends. It was a little awkward when Radek finally found out he’d been a Guardian’s Charge for most of his life, but I guess it’s something you get used to. That’s what life is. Show me a [b]Guardian[/b]!
