But you can’t tell that he has Capsule because he is wearing a skin to cover it. Also the first dragon I layered that particular shoulder guard combo on. And now I do it all the time. I don’t know what to tell you. Looks amazing. Why wouldn’t I use this exact combo for every single other Ridgeback I own? Ayel originally came from a user named @Kajo (I hope they don’t mind the ping, though they appear inactive now), when he was but a baby. I wanted a dragon of his colors, roughly (I wonder what the heck I was thinking in wanting red and not green, but I rarely make sense), and with a Metallic primary. I think it was new at the time. Or maybe Bee was? Either way, he cost me 20kt. And I think he might have been the Ridgeback that made me like all other m Ridgebacks. And like I imagine many Ridgebacks are, this guy is a miner. He lives in a clan (that doesn’t exist) at the bottom of the sea, and he digs underneath it. I imagine that he uses his Water magic to keep the water off his skin as he comes and goes. Show me a [b]Miner[/b]! A dragon that digs. I’m so good at these prompts. Edriet was a lone dragon living as miner in the natural caves, seeking only to pursue their interest in archeology at the time. Their work is the main reason why the Starbane Grotto (the network of mostly-dragonmade caves in the cliffface alongside the Night-Kissed Vale) is as expansive as it is today. Although the position has been offered numerous times in the past, they refuse to take on the role of Mining Operations Director of the clan, despite being easily the oldest, wisest, and most experienced on the subject in the clan. They live a humble - albeit a bit sad - life, constantly longing for their [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/13584650]ex-mate[/url] and children, but unable to ever see their old family again. They don't share much with their current clanmates about their past, but their heartache is obvious to those with a keen eye for romantic matters. Edriet, despite being rather mysterious (and a bit spooky, according to some), they are very kind and will gladly lead newcomers through the caves to the exact location they may be looking for. They continue to excavate and search for unusual archaeological artifacts today, but they've started to find comfort in making new friends, even though these new dragons will never replace what Edriet has lost. Overall, Edriet is a huge comfort dragon of mine, between their kindheartedness, longing for the family they once knew, and love for their favorite passion in life. I think I bought her in a fodder-buying spree and then accidentally scried her. You know, as you do. I am absolutely in love with her look though. Also once again displaying how I apparently cannot dress anything without resorting to a mantle. Centri is a friend of [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/36#post_56372792]Cordelia[/url] and [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/31#post_56289202]Charlotte[/url], and also probably [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/36#post_56379077]Lin[/url], and a former soldier even at her young age. But she was sent on a mission and got lost. Because she has no sense of direction. That’s it. That’s the story. At least, I think so. Kinda hard to tell. She might still be trying to complete her mission to hunt one of the boss monsters. The gloved frog I think. I haven’t quite decided on that. The thing about her is that she just does a lot of damage. So I guess she’s next on my list to get to 25. She doesn’t have the surname “Bladedancer” for nothing. Show me a [b]Blade master[/b]! A dragon that is so excellent with swords or other blades that they really bring it to the level of art. wow Eos looks epic with Okapi, full support, possibly the best use of the gene I've ever encountered. Sunshine okapi matches so well with Fire Shimmer, and the Spring Iri both contrasts (green) and blends (yelloranges) so perfectly! Centri is stunning. I'd definitely be trying to see more of her red boa highlights that pop with her wing, first trying her without the Grimplate, it clips over the wing cover anyway, (which matches her Cream Points so btw!) I think I told you already that I love SD F but just in case you missed it I'll point it out again while Centri's here. Mantles are boss for sure but I'm not a super fan of Ice and Cream beside each other (unless, of course, its in a sentence preceding eating one) If this was a post about mantles I'd be showing you a tundra right now but it looks like its about swordsmanship so I'd like to pick my Sakamoto Ryoma fandragon for today, (and if you don't know who that is I highly recommend asking google or your preferred librarian for some more information!) Interestingly, his Ryo kanji means dragon, as does his partner Oryo's (yeah I probably need a fandragon of her next!) Ohh, I love Centri's look! Those genes with her accent and outfit are such a good combo. I don't usually hc my dragons as using much in the way of weaponry! But you know, I'll bet Meru actually knows how to use that blade. Oooh Centri is fun. I love the match between cream points, the bones in her accent, and the bowman apparel - super balanced, and really satisfying how it all comes together. It's a shame I already shared [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/21385644]Senkar[/url] a different day, because he'd be perfect for this; the man loves to show off his flashy, skillful knife work. But Voekti works quite well too, though from a different perspective - her sword is sentient, and when she gets into the right flow mindstate, it as good as wields itself. It's pretty fun to see a swordswoman deftly wielding a blade while blindfolded (and throws off her opponents too). I always thought Nocturnes would make the best couriers because of their mimic ability. It doesn’t make sense unless you headcanon like I do that Nocturnes also have eidetic memory. After all, I feel like you have to be able to recall something pretty completely to be able to mimic it well. Can make for some fun situations, anyway.
