These are my two lore dragons Aretha and Finarfin!! In their lore, they found and raised a Nocturne that they found! Fin takes care of hatchlings and is a babysitter, and Aretha just kinda watches awkwardly,,,

Even though they arent ACTIVE lore dragons anymore they are permanently bonded in my den!

Now they're both confined in the Library, and still figuring out how to get along, though Hafgrimr admittedly prefers Algol as a cohort instead of a researcher. Byleistr has a massive fangirl crush on her mentor Bedi; they're both assassins and Bedi showed Byleistr the ropes long ago, which has led to Byleistr deeply admiring and trying to emulate her. For her part, Bedi returns Byleistr's feelings but doesn't feel it'd be appropriate to act on them, despite them now being peers.

In a case of rather unhealthy attachments, we have Hafgrimr and Algol. Hafgrimr is a reincarnation of an ancient sea monster reborn in the body of a dragon, kept prisoner in the clan's Occult Library. Lieutenant Doctor Oma and her gender-whatever SO Captain Hadal. Hadal is an explorer but always comes back to Oma, and they are so very in love.

And Zora and Hazan, who I want to share mostly because they're currently the only ones in my lair with a canonical & named (adopted eternal youth) child who is still in the lair— not even my straight dragons have named canonical children even on the rare occasions when they DO have children, because it's usually handwavey "oh they had children but the children grew up and aren't there anymore," because I don't usually like dealing with children in lore.

It's complicated when site timelines don't match my own! But Zora and Hazan's kid being eternal youth means I don't have to worry about any of that.
