"Oh, hello there! Sorry for not noticing you earlier, been stuck in the lab..."

Bookwyrm is the head of Risensung Respite's (very small) extraterristrial research team, keeping an eye on the stars for the life she knows is out there. Her main responsibility at the moment is tracking the movement of the star-consuming entity referred to in her logs as Halogen, trying to find patterns in its hunting behaviour to understand how much of a threat it may be to Sornieth.

At first, no one really believed Bookwyrm. While they had all believed that she was born in space - hard not to when the story of the Aether spaceship crashing into the sea off Starfall Isles was spreading across the world like a wildfire - the thought of any life outside of Sornieth was a stretch too far for most. The discovery of Halogen quickly gave credence her claims, and a research team was established, with her at the head, to keep track of it.

Outside of her research, Bookwyrm's main habit is causing Tenhou no small amount of concern. She is extremely insistent on borrowing books from the Library, despite Tenhou's objections (he'd recently heard of the Aether species' "taste" for paper and immediately put his foot down that no books leave the library in an Aether's claws, but rescinded that rule after securing three backup copies of every book,) but she always returns the books she borrows exactly as they were when she plucked them from the shelves. To do otherwise would be severely disappointing to Alice, the clan's self-proclaimed matchmaker.

Her second-favourite habit is visiting Alice's cafe, books in hand, and dragging the Imperial out from behind the counter to settle in with a mountain of pastries and read together in either light conversation or comfortable silence. The two often spend hours together like this, and are often mistaken for a couple by other dragons that come in. Neither of them have denied it, much to Bookwyrm's joy, but something always interrupts them right before Bookwyrm can say it herself.
