How long did this person violating our site TOU? I’m pretty sure that if this person did it now could’ve done it in the past And have done with other raffles. Maybe they didn’t get notice until it to late?
How many people have done the same if this person wasn’t seen cheating?
Altho if it was re-roll, its only a slim chance of winning again anyway. Many people who place alot treasure in the raffle itself (including myself) knew of a possibility of a 0.0001 chance. The loss of treasure was our own approval.
I understand that the gonna re-roll so the possibility of someone to cheat again could be high but the team now know what to look for. Plus, it gives others that didn’t know it was raffle to enter.

from what I've read the person in question wasn't even using multi-accounting to cheat the raffle. they just happened to have a second account. how would that have given them any more advantage than players who bought thousands of tickets?
though the question of if people have done this in the past still stands, this specific issue wasn't done with the intention to gain an advantage with the raffle. that was just the consequence of scrutinizing the specific winner

Just a thought and I'm not even sure it's possible - should players who didn't win any prizes have their tickets rolled over into the next raffle when the KS Crown is offered? So when the next raffle happens you would start with however many tickets you purchased previously, and you would still be able to purchase more throughout the week if you wanted to.
I agree that the raffle is a gamble and there is always an inherent risk involved, but the expectation for those participating is also that the raffle will be fair and not rigged.

Yea, I'm not arguing that multi accounting has no advantages - I just don't get why this is worse to people than somebody buying gems, converting those, and buying roundsey tickets that way, or why there should be refunds or a redraw of everything instead of a new raffle.

Assuming that the records of who bought what are even recoverable in a format that could somehow be reused in a different raffle... you're immediately going to run into the problem of time, as in over time people leave the game. There are undoubtedly some small percentage who are leaving right now due to this being the straw that broke the donkey's back for them, and more will leave organically between now and whenever the second raffle is held. So if all the tickets were reused... the crown might well be won by a by-then-abandoned account. Which would suck.

hello sorry yes RheoTastic has it correct, i didn't exactly clarify what my post was in response to but it was about the multiple users talking about how they dumped hundreds of thousands of treasure into the raffle and now its lost to the void. it is possible to win a large prize without spending large amounts of treasure so i was trying to maybe inspire some more positivity or on the flipside, reassure people that the multiaccounting in question wasn't benifiting the user in this particular situation since some users are talking about how they feel cheated with the whole thing now. (not that the user didn't do anything wrong it just had no bearing on the win itself.
