Everything you know about gaolers? Throw that out, because Macaron, or "Big Mac" as he's known as by his friends, is the opposite! The normally militaristic qualities of the gaoler breed betray Mac's soft and sweet personality. Manicures, pillow forts, and dainty designer pastries are only a few of his favorite things, and he is almost never seen in public before he spends at LEAST an hour grooming his luxurious mane to perfection.
He's the tiniest bit of a recluse from the rest of his clan, but that's mostly because he would usually prefer not to leave the cushy comfort of his den within the lair. In fact, he's usually such a couch potato that the others have a tendency to use him AS a couch (he never minds of course, as long as they make sure they've washed their paws first). His wife Bonbon has a bit more of the traditional gaoler mindset, but Mac is slowly working to convince her to open up to the idea of living a more cushy, lowkey life together where they can settle down.
Don't take his passiveness to mean helplessness, though. Mac is a proud father to his children, grandchildren, and to many of the younger dragons of the clan he has taken under his wing and comes with all of his fatherly instincts, and is quite terrifying in the rare event he DOES get angry or need to protect the others. In a sense, it's this protective instinct that truly makes him a gaoler after all.
