This is such a cool post! I don't have lots of time (at work) but skimmed through it and I'm both loving and laughing at what you're all coming up with. Made these in like three minutes after the third announcement because who knows when the breed will drop.

I love the idea of the ancient being insectoid and having one eye so I had to incorporate it. Crystals would be really cool and unique, and maybe even floating limbs! I also love the idea of combining crystals with some kinda of biological blood vein looking thingies.

The star trail was not made by the dragon itself, but by a spaceship.
The dragon would be bipedal, but unlike a wildclaw, it would have a plantigrade stance similar to a human or other primate. It would have a pair of rounded antennae on top of its head, a pair of two pairs of decently-sized eyes, short limbs, and a very long neck. It would also have two pairs of rounded, butterfly-like wings and a decently-sized tail. The majority of its features would be rounded, with four-fingered claws and a curly chameleon tail.
The line-breaking part of this dragon would be its wings, which float. The wings would have tertiaries such as grooves, tentacles, floating spheres, and so on. Babies would have overly long necks and massive wings, with the rest of their body being tiny.
The dragons would be very small since I think the 'meteors' are their ships. I would say even smaller than fae and veilspun (like the adults would be around 0.73 meters at average). They would eat insects and plants. I imagine something very small, and very weird.
