[color=360705]either steel or fire. i already kind of have some development for a steel gym leader sona. they battle you, get recruited to the evil team, and slowly become one with kommo-o. it's unsettling, to say the least.

Steel/Ground duotype, with a pair of Marowaks as my main partners. My gym'd be designed after the Regis' ruins, with puzzle doors and an indoor sandstorm.
... For the record, it's pure coincidence that all my favourites happen to have Steel or Ground in there somewhere, but hey, whatever works. =P

OH NO I forgot Meltan because I forgot there was a second generator! So Meltan would be my little buddy who didn't do any fighting lol XD it just sits on my shoulder

It's a somewhat odd combo but I think it works :)
The gym itself would look like a giant green house, full of clouds of mist, suspiciously colourful plants and towering white-barked trees. It would double as a small pokemon sanctuary, with packs of Morelull and Floette roaming around, as well as a good handful of Vibrava and even a few Gible and Bagon. The gym puzzles start on the ground level, and as you progress you would move up to platforms and little treehouses, until you finally make it right up to a glass battlefield suspended above the treetops

As a gymleader, I'd have to say that I'd lean more into a theme than being a type specialist, kinda similar to Cynthia in a way. For example, having a theme based on heroics, or my current theme team in Sword/Shield: Kaijuu (@
Radvom A+ on the Kaijuu theme too)
I had to get creative because of the Galarian dex limitations, but this is my Kaijuu team (with Pokemon for switchouts)
Godzilla: Tyranitar
Ghidorah: Hydreigon
Mothra: Frosmoth
Manda: Gyarados
Bagan: Rhyperior (Shiny :D)
GhostGojira: Gengar (Shiny too :D)
Kumonga: Galvantula
King Caesar: Drampa
For a Wandering Hero theme, I'd prolly go with something like: Lucario, Togekiss, Gardevoir/Gallade, and a few others I haven't decided yet. The Wandering Hero would have a spread of skills/Pokemon to help people out with pretty much any problem possible

If I were a Psychic one:
