Situated within the cusp of the Shifting Expanse and the Sumbeam Ruins, near the Moonportal, Uteffo Corvi's life has been rather peaceful. Founded by two mighty Ridgebacks, Corvid and Jacklyn, the clan quickly grew into a beautifully built clan.

OVERVIEW
Clan life was slow at first, occasionally getting a traveler passing through. They soon found that they're in the perfect spot to be a "rest stop" of sorts. The sea wasn't far on either side, and food was plentiful. Their soil is rich in nutrients and the storms from the Expanse bring rain fairly often, bringing in fresh water for dragons to drink. It was the perfect place for dragons to recharge before continuing on.

They embraced this, welcoming all travelers into their clan and encouraging them to stay a while. The clan soon boomed when merchants caught wind of a traveler's stop, giving the clan some income as well as new members. With the new found cash, Corvid and Jacklyn made the decision to expand, calling for a council to be formed. They hand picked the members of what is now the Council, some of the most brilliant minds in the clan. They meet twice a month, with emergency meetings put into effect by the leaders.

While they aren't very big, they are rather important to those who traverse the lands. A peaceful place to stop and rest their weary bones and stock up on supplies.

ARCITECTURE/GEOGRAPHY
The clan rests upon sloping hills, of which are covered in pale green grasses. Not far to the south it turns into flat, arid desert where one can find the most mining and scavenging opportunities. Thanks to the clans intervention, the introduction of trees brought cover to the once sunny and bare hills.

The climate ranges from warm and humid, to dry and chilly. Most of the year, the air is warm with medium humidity. The highest percentage of humidity happens around Thundercrack Carnivale, when the storms in the Expanse are most wild. As winter nears, precipitation nearly stops and the once warm air turns cooler and dry. Nowhere near as cold as the Icefields, one could get away with simple covers and thin layers.

The architecture is made of a mixture of clay and stone, the contrasting colorations making for an oddly elegant look. Clay is abundant around the clan, and stone can be found most anywhere. The streets of the clan are lined with stone paths and little gardens, breathing life into the already lively clan. The most common plant life found is cacti, succulents, and various different warm-weather trees. Some perennial flowers can be found sprouting from the ground, adding small pops of color where they lie.

Massive bridges made of the white stone from varying places within the Ruins, towering pillars adorning their sides with lanterns hanging from them. These bridges close the gap of the two sides, divided by the giant cliffsides of the territories. Held together by powerful magic and sheer ingenuity, the bridges also offer nice little fishing spots for those that don't wish to venture outside of the clan.

CLAN LIFE
Clan life is peaceful and efficient. Everything is affordable and easily accessible, even for those who have just moved in. No one goes hungry or thirsty, and all have the means to build their own den.

Uteffo Corvi is a relatively safe clan. Violent crime is a rare occurrence, with petty and grand theft being the most common. Thanks to the local Guard and law enforcement, offenders are usually caught and the goods are returned or reimbursed. The jail/prison is highly regarded for it's ability to help inmates both safe and secure, as well as those outside safe from the inmates.

Outside of work life, Uteffo Corvi has plenty of other activities one could enjoy. Nature walks (or flights) are the most popular, though dragons can also enjoy the library, live performances, and various arts.

*Please note, I used google translate for the name.
Here's a more accurate translation/description thanks to MaskofKeter!

Google Translate isn't very good at Latin since the language is fairly complex and isn't widely spoken anymore to warrant improving it. I would recommend Latdict and Wiktionary if you want to look up words, but making a longer translation is a little more complicated than that, especially if it involves more than adjectives, nouns, and a few basic verb forms.

Based on what I've looked up, combined with my limited knowledge of Latin, the direct translation of ut effodiant corvi would be "as if ravens are digging," or "as if they of ravens are digging."

How Google Translate got that from "Raven's Keep" is beyond me, but I assume that it got confused between the noun and verb for "keep".

A more accurate translation would be Castrum/Castellum/Turris Corvi. Castrum is the word for a castle or fort, while castellum is a smaller castle or fort. Turris is the word for a tower, and seems to be the most common translation for a keep for the Romance languages (keep is a Germanic word, not a Romance one, so it isn't one-to-one).

Corvi translates to "ravens" or "of ravens." The second translation is how Latin indicates ownership. It's the same as saying the "Keep of Raven" instead of "Raven's Keep."

Latin doesn't have a strict word order either (since each word has multiple cases to indicate their meaning), so if you want, you could rearrange parts of the name around if you think it would sound better. The order I have above is just the traditional order in Latin.
