Mental illness has been so romanticized that I'm terrified of actually telling people I have a mental illness. I don't want to tell someone what's wrong and have them say "lol same" or "stop faking it lmao". I just want people to be respectful and understanding.
And it really sucks that I, along with many other people, have to feel this way.
