I feel that way about a lot of food items. You have wild stuff like flaming leaves or poisonous snakes, and then there's just. Acorn.

Flameweed
Plant
The leaves of this dry shrub are nearly impervious to flame, making it incredibly difficult to clear once flameweed has overrun an area.

Coral Snake
Meat
The bright coloring of the Coral Snake warns of its potent venom. Devour them carefully.

Acorn
Plant
Acorns are perfect for storing during long winter months, if you can get them before the squirrels...

it does mention in the description that you have to eat them carefully, so...
yeh now that you mention it, that's pretty funny, huh? but in any case i have mad respect for the devs/artists for designing so many new creatures and species that anything representing default reality seems downright unusual.

The elks are my favorite familiars. They are real-life's fantasy creature.

Cheerful Chime
Trinkets
These bells are often hung around lairs at festival time. Their loud chiming has become something of a holiday tradition. (Special thanks to ViridianSylph!)
The funniest thing to me is that not only do elks exist, but they (and turkeys!) are a formidable fight for dragons, and are in a level 20 venue alongside fantastical beasts made of glass and titanic mammophants.
(This is said with utmost affection and positively, I think it's fun in the same vein as the purple Normal Opossum)

Skin: Seademon
Imperial Female Only
Skins are equippable items that can be worn like a coat of paint on top of the skin of your dragon. The look of the skin will not be passed onto offspring and may be unequipped at any time. (Designed by Havic.)
