If FR decided to another color wheel expansion, how would you feel about it?
I would absolutely love more colors, especially in the greyscale and pink/red ranges. Birch, moonstone and rose gold from the
thread in suggestions are ones that come to mind. The only thing I’d be hesitant about is breeding projects getting longer, but I don’t do breeding projects so it would be worth it IMO.

I find that already there are colors (multiple of them) that are barely different in multiple genes - I don't think that another expansion would add more than it would mess up. And I mentioned in that thread several years ago and my opinion didn't change that just because a possible new color looks good in a single gene that doesn't mean that it actually adds something if it looks the same in all other genes.

that would be great. we need more greyscale colors, we only have like 10

We 100% need more pinks. Some warm and soft pinks.
A color wheel expansion would make a lot of my stained dergs redundant? Probably. Would I care? No. I checked out lorwolf the other day and their pink selection?? chefs kiss. stunning.
I don't think it's going to happen though,,, but i'd love it.

Pros and cons, obviously. Ever find the would-be perfect gene plan but this is the rare time that colour has a different accent colour that throws the whole thing off? Or, nearly all the colours in a small range have the same accent colour for some reason?
Of course it’d complicate breeding projects more, and old dragons that are just one colour off from perfection can’t be realistically adjusted, but I’m always a fan of more customization options. Totally get why they wouldn’t add more, though.

personally i would love more colors- but i think id like them to be spread out in a few small releases, rather than another big expansion per se. colors i feel like are an easier place to add more content on the site, since they have a program for creating genes without need ing to actually redraw anything (other than the old by hand only genes like iri/shim, but releasing one or a few colors at a time would greatly lighten the load)- but i could be wrong!

if it was a few colors, to fill in some small gaps, that'd be great! A grey or two, maybe a pink and a purple and a green, just filling in where the colorwheel needs a small bit of filling- maybe like 5-10 colors
if it's a full colorwheel expansion that adds like 20+ colors??? nah, it's gonna just start repeating some, and we really don't need that

Honestly? I'd rather have more funky accent colors in the colors we already have, so we can do more with the dragons we already have.
For example: some FlaFla genes have the secondary almost entirely taking over. I feel that'd be a nice way to handle getting more colors while not requiring an actual colorwheel expansion, is having a gene (or multiple genes, eventually) that brings in a dominant secondary color that may not exist in the colorwheel.
I feel like that would mitigate some of the drawbacks and be less work overall (because it's operating within an existing structure) while still adding something new and fun to the game, both color-wise and gene-wise.

id love to see more colors and spectate the chaos that would ensure right after
